The boy grew up on the stories of Zoshchenko, who had a great influence on his formation of personality as an actor. War years

The fate of Nikolai Alexandrovich was very interesting, he was the son of the red father, Alexander Boyarsky, in 1941 he was called up to the front, was wounded, but continued to take part in hostilities. Subsequently, he proved himself in numerous battles as a real hero, for which he was repeatedly noted by the command, received several orders and medals, including the Order of the Red Star.

All front-line soldiers, of course, fought for the Motherland, for its present and future, for the laughter of children and the smiles of wives and mothers, for native birches and poplars. People went to death for the triumph of life. Many have not returned … We still honor their memory, and as long as the memory is alive, our Fatherland is alive, the spirit of the people is alive. Again, like ancient giants, we are faced with terrible events that have descended from the pages of history … And we, “people of the new century”, must do everything so that the mistakes of the past do not find ways of embodiment in our time.

Reading the letters of the front-line soldiers, you understand how great was the desire to repulse the enemy, how serious the task was for the soldiers! In particular, the actor Nikolai Boyarsky recalled how, through the entire war, he carried the image of his beloved Lydia, whom he met during the fighting, into the heart. Having walked all over Europe, Nikolai came with troops to Koenigsberg and met the victory there. According to the memoirs of the commanders, he was a magnificent soldier. He was sacked as a senior sergeant.

“I fought for the Motherland and for Lida, ” said Nikolai Alexandrovich subsequently.

Also preserved many poems written during this period by Nicholas. Here is one of them:

Lighting a hate sting

Love leads me to mortal combat

To burn in the flame of a dagger

Raging enemy blood …

Carier start. Theatrical roles

After the war ended, in 1948, while still not an actor, Nikolai Boyarsky entered the Leningrad Theater Institute. In the years 1948-1982. served in the theater named after V.F. Komissarzhevskaya. Nikolai Boyarsky managed to embody many inimitable images on stage! By the way, the artist equally well managed both serious roles and the images of the comedy plan. Of the most notable episodes of Nikolai’s career, the 1949 production of Don Cesar de Bazan is recalled. It is in this performance that the actor brings the features of the image of his hero (King) almost to the grotesque. It should also be said about the other two major successes: the brilliantly designed Antoine Martine in the play "Chao!" M.A. Sauvageon and the episodic role of Bogdan Hook in the play by Ruben Agamirzyan “Tsar Fedor Ioannovich”, also masterfully played by the actor.
