Rory Culkin, who spent the first years of his life in the shadow of his famous older brother, is about to beat him in popularity and the number of bright roles. The young man, who began to act in films early, managed to appear in about 30 film projects by the age of 26.
Rory Culkin: biography of a star
The American actor was born in New York, and a joyful event happened in 1989. Rory Calkin became the 7 son of his parents: he has four brothers and two sisters (the eldest daughter died in a car accident at the age of 29).
Childhood stars can hardly be called happy. His father, Keith, was formerly known as a theater actor who shone in famous productions. Most likely, the famous children from him inherited their abilities for acting. However, after the first successes of his son Macaulay, who became popular at a young age, the man focused on the career of his children. But the situation changed when Rory Kalkin got a role in the film “You Can Count on Me, ” which was released in 2000.
The director, astounded by the acting talent of a child who was already about 11 years old at that time, suggested he play a supporting character. The younger hero's name was Rudy, he grew up with his mother, who raised her son alone. The boy dreamed of a meeting with his father, about which he knew nothing, in his fantasies, dad became a superhero. This role brought Rory the first serious award in his life.
