The phrase “Let's live!” Said by his character really expresses his personality, suits him completely: both in life and in creativity. After such a hint, it’s hard not to know who it is. This, of course, is Vladimir Talashko, a Soviet and Ukrainian actor.

Ageless Hollywood Artist

Just recently, in 2015, we saw his face on TV in social advertising. It is remarkable that even now this man, who has not been aged and strong in spirit, works as a teacher of the theater. Karpenko-Kary, blows kindness and warmth.

He took up creativity suddenly even for himself. Seen at a competition of amateur performances in Moscow director of the Donetsk Theater. Artyom his bright, memorable appearance could conquer Hollywood.

So half a century ago, a guy from a simple mining family who did not have a special education, by chance became an actor, having acquired a profession in which he plunged right away with his head and for life.

Youth

Before his acting, Talashko Vladimir Dmitrievich, born in 1946, chose the profession of a miner, which was not typical for his peers, boys from the village of Novokalinovka in the Donetsk region (he came here from Volyn at the age of six). After school, he studied at the mining college. He worked at the mine for a year. Already then the orientation of the personality manifested.

I didn’t aspire to honors, there were favorite and unloved subjects of study. Sopromat, theoretical mechanics, was not easy. But he was quite involved in sports (places in competitions in cycling, weightlifting, played in productions of an amateur theater, participated in a voluntary national squad).

At first, his son's unexpected hobby for the acting profession was perceived by his parents ironically, as frivolous.

Service, Institute

However, when after military service, Vladimir Talashko entered the Ukrainian acting forge - Karpenko-Kary Institute (Kiev), their opinion changed. They saw that the son really seriously and for life chose a creative profession for himself. A talented and hardworking student, like a sponge, absorbed creativity lessons from already held teachers of the institute: Nikolai Mashchenko (director of the films “How Steel Was Tempered, ” “Gadfly”) and People's Artist of the USSR Konstantin Stepankov.

Respect and admiration for the hard work of mining, he retained for life. The actor Vladimir Talashko will always call himself an "immigrant from Donbas." Not surprisingly, he lost both his grandfather and father in accidents at mines.

Successful start of film career

As a result, the young actor, not only with a bright heroic appearance of the Slavic type, but also able to subtly show his characters psychologically, turned out to be more than in demand by Soviet directors.

At the age of 23, he became one of the most filmed actors of the film studio to them. Dovzhenko. What attracted the audience to him? Perhaps maximalism, maybe a strain. Vladimir Talashko, living the life of his heroes, always tried to set the bar of the spiritual and cultural as high as possible in them. This is evidenced by his most striking images from the extensive filmography of the actor, numbering more than fifty film works.

Starley Skvortsov ("Only the elderly go into battle")

There are films that are destined to become eternal. How is genius born? There is obviously no answer to this question.

In cinema, it all starts with the uniqueness of the director’s design. In the script of Leonid Fedorovich Bykov, embodied on a black and white tape, the main thing was to rethink and artistically show bit by bit the personally collected memoirs of Soviet combat pilots.

When showing the drama of the war and the everyday squadron of fighters, Vladimir Talashko worthily played the image of his hero (for a photo of his character, pilot Skvotsov, see below).

It was a role that any actor can only dream of. She is ambiguous. A film artist plays a man who once during a tense battle experienced horror from the possibility of his death. He received a moral injury, his motivation decreased. War breaks not only iron. Oh, how difficult it was to fight reckless German ace pilots!

Psychologism of the image

Then, guided more by reflexes than consciousness, Sergey Skvortsov arbitrarily left the battle. The senior lieutenant is not a newcomer to the war. He is far from a coward. It’s just that the instinct for self-preservation was stronger in the battle. Sergei finds himself in a situation where no one in the world, except himself, can help him. He goes through a painful and tense chain of doubt, restlessness, detached confession and wins. Fear conquers Skvortsov, he demonstrates a convincing and worthy victory over himself - the most important thing in his life.

The pilot again shows the skill and perseverance of an air fighter. For the courage shown, the pilot - senior lieutenant is awarded another military rank, but he dies. Brave, beautiful. A death that heroes can only dream of. Having said the words from which the audience was pinched in the heart.

This role is a break, a break in the soul. Having played it, Vladimir Talashko really became a national favorite.

About the successful film with the participation of Talashko "Captain Nemo"

The Soviet film version - the symbiosis of "20 thousand leagues under the sea" and "Steam House" - was shot in the Crimea forty years ago. Director Vasily Levin, according to world critics, managed to create one of the most successful films in the world based on the works of Jules Verne.

The film is loved by many generations of moviegoers. And now, after several decades, his direction does not look archaic: the actors are convincing, you believe them. Of course, now the time is different, the entire video sequence of modern adventure films is filled with computer effects. However (we are talking about “Captain Nemo”) the talented, catchy music from Zatsepin and the expressive look of the performer of the role of Nemo - Dvorzhetsky, the very spirit of the search for faith in the power of the human mind inherent in the film, do not leave spectators indifferent today.

Whaling Ned Land

The real decoration of the film was the role of the whaler Ned Lend, played by Vladimir Talashko. Adventure films (meaning outstanding ones) enjoy the audience sympathy not only due to the fascination of the plot, the skill with which the actor presents them with his hero is also important. From this point of view, Talashko was more than convincing. His Ned Lend, a courageous and strong man from Canada, the most skilled whaler in the New World, you believe right away, from the first minutes of the film. This is an amazingly integral and truly masculine image - an undoubted find and a real decoration of the film.

In addition to the above-mentioned two famous films, the actor starred in the director Nikolai Mashchenko in the role of Red Army soldier Okunev (“How Steel Was Tempered”), a sailor Ognivtsev (“Commissars”).

Unrecognized role of Vladimir Dmitrievich in the film "Land by the Eater"

Unfortunately, the actor’s work was not affected in the best way by the decline of Soviet cinema caused by global socio-political events. It cannot be said that Vladimir Talashko did not receive offers from filmmakers at all. His filmography did not freeze. However, the notorious crisis of the genre affected (and not through the fault of the actor). There were no roles that could bring glory. Something in his acting career began to not get involved. More often than not, the scripts and the wrong roles were offered to him by the directors. However, there was a diametrically opposite situation.

Once in 1991 (referring to the film "The Eater" directed by Gennady Zemel), an actor found his image as captain Okunev. Emotional, tough, negative. The script itself impressed the actor - a real "smoking cubic piece of conscience."

Briefly about the scenario chosen by Talashko

The situation around which the plot was really artistically beaten is real: the largest uprising of the prisoners in the USSR, driven to despair, in 1954 in the Kazakh prison. Really inconvenient and still for many politicians, the director portrayed horror that is hard to imagine. People who demanded a human being were killed by internal troops: they were crushed by tanks, torn into pieces of meat by bursts of heavy machine guns of armored personnel carriers, and even delivered air strikes. Salvation and mercy were not there.

I missed the script through myself and realized that it was his, and actor Talashko. Vladimir Dmitrievich realized that everything came together: the script, role, talent. The actor (in his own words) gave all the best, showing one of his best roles.

Not only one thing followed - recognition. The tape turned out to be highly politically uncompetitive. And although in 1992 she participated in the Cannes Film Festival, she was simply not shown to the wide audience. And during the GKChP (as the director himself said in an interview), she even had to hide it by burying it in the ground.

Apparently, to this day, regarding the "Eater", the order for movie channels is secretly acting: not to let it go.

Fruitful public activity

The direct, honest, friendly disposition of the actor has always impressed people. His views aimed at educating the spirituality of people have found and are finding understanding. No wonder Vladimir Talashko came from a simple working family. His biography contains facts that testify not only to high human virtues, but also to the real organizational talent of the famous actor. And he had energy in the 90s to match his character Ned Lendu.

Judge for yourselves: Vladimir Dmitrievich managed to break through, through the bureaucratic thorns, establish, organize (you can choose any of the verbs) a fund named after the outstanding and beloved by the people director Leonid Bykov. He also founded the film "Old Films on the Essentials". On television, he led the program “Field Mail of Memory”. Unfortunately, these non-profit undertakings in the future did not find proper support from the state. All of them are now in the past. The most successful project was the Leonid Bykov Foundation, but it was also closed at the insistence of the director’s daughter Maryana.

Personal life

What does the people's artist of Ukraine Talashko Vladimir Dmitrievich live now? His photo, taken in 2015, leaves no doubt: of course, with creativity. He is still invited to act in films.

He devotes a lot of time to teaching at Karpenko-Kary University: he is preparing an acting course for television.

Vladimir Talashko is traditionally laconic about his personal life. Children, wife and film career - how often these are mutually exclusive concepts. Doesn’t fifty films already show the time devoted to them not for the family?

The daughter of Bogdan Kudyavtsev is a lawyer. Granddaughters - Lina Gerasimchuk and Yesenia Kudyavtseva. Wife Lyudmila. Here is the fragmentary information that the average reader will confine. However, more detailed information can be found in the interview with the actor. From his legal wife, Vladimir went to the hostel, barely choosing an acting profession for himself. He explains the gap between the inconsistencies in the rhythm of life of the actor and the person with normal work.

So, in essence, Vladimir lives separately. However, with age, his life priorities have changed. If in younger years, according to the actor, his only love was cinema, now he pays much attention to his daughter Dana and granddaughters: the eldest eleventh grader, Lena and the lesser Yesenia. Now, perhaps, not art, but relatives for him - the inner circle.
