Tatyana Okunevskaya is one of the most feminine and temperamental actresses of Soviet cinema. Perhaps the younger generation is unfamiliar or unfamiliar to her at all, but Okunevskaya is well known to movie fans of the 30s and 40s. Films with her participation are “Pyshka”, “Nights over Belgrade”, “Hot Days”. Most of all, Tatyana Okunevskaya is known for her novels with famous and high-ranking men of the past century, including Konstantin Simonov, Joseph Broz Tito - the Yugoslav marshal, Boris Gorbatov, with whom she lived not out of love, but because she needed financial support.

She was an indomitable woman, characterized by peremptory and iron will. And all this combined with beauty, bewitching femininity, preserved until the very last days, and sexuality unusual for those Soviet times.

Years are young

The actress Tatyana Okunevskaya was born on March 3, 1914. She grew up in love, adoring mom, granny and father, with whom the girl had a particularly trusting relationship. While still very young, she heard a lot from her father — Kirill Petrovich — about the Bolsheviks, the revolution, and the difficulties that they might face in life.

The first life test was the expulsion of third-grader Tatyana from the 24th labor school due to the fact that her father was on the side of the White Guards in the civil war. An officer of the tsarist army, he was constantly hiding, and still managed to serve three times in prison. Tatyana's parents were even in a fictitious divorce, if only they would not touch the family. Tanya was transferred to a school, which was opposite the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater. The head of the educational institution agreed to keep silent about the unpleasant fact in the biography of Okunevskaya.

The fate of the actress was determined by chance

Tanya graduated from school at 17 and immediately went to work at the People's Commissariat of Education by courier. In the evenings, she studied at drawing courses, so desired by her parents, but unloved by her. The girl tried to become a student of the architectural institute, but was not accepted, so she attended lectures by a free listener. Tatyana Okunevskaya hoped that teachers would appreciate her zeal and diligence and allow her to study with everyone. Maybe this would have happened if it were not for the chance meeting that determined her whole future life.

Okunevskaya’s film career began with an accidental street meeting, when two men, seeing her and fascinated by such a beautiful appearance, were invited to act in films. Tatyana Okunevskaya, whose films the whole country will subsequently watch, flatly refused, realizing that her father would not approve of this, but left her address. So, just in case. Some time later, the girl was again offered to get acquainted with the world of cinema. At that time, the family was far from having the best of times, and Tata agreed to ease her financial situation. So Tatyana Okunevskaya burst into the world of the film industry.

Biography, personal life of the actress

With her first husband - student and actor Varlamov Dmitry - Tatyana met thanks to the movie. As soon as a young man suggested formalizing the relationship, the 17-year-old Tanyusha immediately agreed, despite her father’s displeasure. Unfortunately, the marriage failed. Spouse led a wild life, skipped all the money in restaurants, not bringing them to the family, where in addition to him and Tatyana, she already had a little daughter in her arms.

As a result, Tatyana took the little Inga and returned home to her parents. There she was surrounded by affection and care, but she was depressed by the lack of work.

At the peak of popularity

In 1934, luck turned to Tatyana: Mikhail Romm, a novice filmmaker at that time, suggested she star in the movie “Pyshka” (based on the work of the same name by Guy de Maupassant). After this film work, when Tatyana was noticed by both the directors and the viewer, she starred in the film "Hot Days", where she was invited to the main role. It was this film work that became the hallmark of the actress. Her role was so temperamental, sexy and brilliant that Okunevskaya captivated and fell in love with all men. Tatyana herself was surprised at her own popularity, not understanding why the audience loved her so much. Famous in those days, the director Nikolai Okhlopkov suggested that the girl try herself in the theater field after watching exactly “Hot Days”.

Tatyana Okunevskaya, whose filmography greatly impressed the male half of the population, subsequently admitted that she played her best roles on the theater stage. Her first work was Natasha in the play "Mother" based on Gorky's novel. Then there were such productions: Othello, Iron Stream, Innkeeper, Brave Soldier Schweik, who gathered full halls of spectators who came to see the young and charming innovation of the theater world. Everything went perfectly: both in Tatyana’s career and in her family. But the year 1937 came …

The scary 1937

Father was once again arrested, his grandmother was taken with him. They have not returned home. It was only in the mid-1950s that Tatyana learned that close people were shot at the Vagankovsky cemetery, at a previously prepared grave, three months after the moment of arrest. The actress herself, who turned out to be the daughter of an "enemy of the people", was fired from the theater and removed from filming. Before Tatyana there was an acute question of how to feed herself, mother and little Inga in such difficult times. The fans surrounding her, more than once offering the actress a marriage, could easily solve all her material problems.

In 1938, Okunevskaya married a second time. The chosen writer was the successful writer Boris Gorbatov, whom she met in a cafe for journalists. According to the actress, this step was forced and aimed at ridding the family of a miserable existence. After her marriage, her acting career went uphill again. Okunevskaya was accepted into the troupe of the Lenin Komsomol Theater, and she again became a favorite with the audience, starred in the films May Night (1940) and Alexander Parkhomenko (1941).

Okunevskaya and Beria

Unfortunately, the charismatic actress attracted Lavrenty Beria, a member of the Stalinist government. It happened at one of the night concerts that Stalin liked to arrange. From the world of cinema, Mark Bernes and Tatyana Okunevskaya were entrants there, the filmography of which is especially familiar to fans of films of the 30-40s. One evening, the actress called and informed that Joseph Vissarionovich asked to come to a night concert. Tatyana drove by a car in which there was an unfriendly unfamiliar man. He introduced himself as Laurentia Beria, said that Stalin still has a military council, and that for now he will have to wait with him. In the house of Beria, where they went, the table was full of food, Beria ate, drank a lot, periodically called Stalin from another room. Then he went out, said that there would be no concert. Tatyana Okunevskaya and Beria were alone. Lines from Tatyana’s book: "… raped … irreparable happened … no feelings … no way out."

Prior to this, Leonid Lukov, a Soviet film director, tried to find her attention, Nikolai Okhlopkov, a popular actor, Nikolai Sadkovich, screenwriter and director, poet Mikhail Svetlov. Tatyana didn’t reciprocate them.

You are subject to arrest!

In 1946, the Country of Soviets decided to show everyone that Russian women are not only nurses and snipers, as Europe thought. Tatyana Okunevskaya traveled with concerts in 5 countries, the most successful was a trip to Yugoslavia, in which they well knew “Night over Belgrade”. The leader of the country, Broz Tito, invited Okunevskaya to the reception, he came to meet with black roses, on whose petals there were still dew drops. He honestly admitted that he could not marry the actress, because marriages with foreigners were not welcome in the country, and offered to stay in Croatia, promising Tatyana to build a film studio there. Okunevskaya could have stayed, she would have been hidden. But the actress returned home. Since then, for every production of Cyrano de Bergerac, she was sent a basket of black roses from Tito, which the ambassador of Yugoslavia brought to the theater. This lasted until December 1948, when they came for Tatyana. Two officers without an arrest warrant simply showed her a note: “You must be arrested. Abakumov."

Only at one of the interrogations did the investigator hint that Okunevskaya used to know Abakumov, the USSR Minister of State Security. It turns out that at the Moscow Hotel he pinned her with kisses, and actress Tatyana Okunevskaya answered this with a slap in the face. The actress remembered this already in Lubyanka.

I'm Okunevskaya! You have not seen such yet!

The life motto of Okunevskaya, who helped her for many years, was the following: "I am not like everyone else." The one that was called "freedom" was not like anyone else. Once in the cell during prison torture, the executioner shouted to her: “Someday you will break, bitch. We have not seen such. ” To this, the actress replied: “I'm Okunevskaya. You haven’t met such yet. ” Indeed, the executioners have not yet been able to torture such a woman, strong in spirit. Tatyana Okunevskaya was not broken. On the contrary, made stronger.

Okunevskaya always said that she feels and thinks. For this frankness, her friends especially valued her, because the actress spoke exclusively the truth, not always pleasant, often unwanted and harsh, more often dangerous, which others were afraid to say. She never knew how to be silent, and was a man of extremes in everything: both in work and in relationships, which, if they ended, then abruptly and not always beautiful. Tatyana Kirillovna could, with clear and accurate expressions, simultaneously "kill on the spot." Those around her after the verbal tirade silently agreed with her, because no one could say the truth aloud, except for her. Once, at one of the feasts, the actress, raising a toast, looked at the portrait of Stalin and said quite loudly: “Beat the Georgians - save Russia!” This phrase did not get away with her, affecting the subsequent arrest.

Camp Life

Okunevskaya Tatyana Kirillovna was convicted under article 58.10 - anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation. For 13 months, the courageous actress suffered torture by investigators, not yielding to provocation even once. As a result, she was sentenced to 10 years and sent to a camp, after which there were three more. Okunevskaya spent about 5 years there, being mentally with her mother and daughter all the time, several times she was on the verge of starvation, almost died from purulent pleurisy. And even in these conditions, Tatyana had a large number of friends, on the orders of the camp leadership she held concerts for prisoners.

Here, in the camps, Tatyana met her love. His name was Alexei, and he played in the propaganda team on the accordion. These rehearsals were eagerly awaited by Tatyana Okunevskaya. "Tatyana's Day" - memoirs in which the actress described in detail the time spent in the camps. Of these, she was released ahead of schedule in 1954. Alex remained in the camp, after his release, his fate was tragic. He died of tuberculosis.

Boris Gorbatov at that time refused his wife, drove out her daughter and mother, after which he married. He died at the age of 42 from a stroke.

From a new page …

In the life of Tatiana began a new stage. Mom died. The daughter got married.

Brother Levushka, who was arrested in the late 30s, was alive. After her release, Tatyana came to the Lenkom Theater, but she was practically not given roles there, and soon she was completely fired.

Cinema also did not work out. Two years after returning from the camps, Tatyana starred in the movie "Night Patrol" directed by Vladimir Sukhobokov. She got a negative role and did not bring fame, as in subsequent film works.

Years in the camps noticeably worsened the health of the actress, but did not break her. A strict diet, yoga classes and numerous boyfriends, always curling at her feet, returned Tatyana to its former beauty and natural charm.

Despite the tumultuous romance that accompanied her all her life, Tatyana always dreamed of pure and bright love, which she lacked so much. It was ignited strongly and quickly, but it was missing for a short while. But she could be loved forever: for independence, beauty and honesty. Tatyana Okunevskaya, whose personal life was seething, always had in her circle a man who blew dust particles from her, looked after her, carried suitcases. One of them was actor Archil Gomiashvili. According to the daughter of Inga, Archil Gomiashvili and Tatyana Okunevskaya even got married.

Then the actress had more than one novel; on the side of her years a man lived with her, who had known her in her youth. He was very pleasant, intelligent, even drove Okunevskaya to Paris.
