Alexander Erokhin (soccer player) is the central midfielder of the Rostov football club, playing under number 89, as well as a player of the Russian national football team. Achievements: Moldova football champion, Moldavian Cup winner, Commonwealth Cup winner, silver medalist of the Premier League 2015/2016.
Biography and acquaintance with football
Alexander Erokhin was born on October 13 in 1989 in the city of Barnaul, USSR. At the age of six, he began to play football, went to a local sports school. The guy wholeheartedly loved football and did not miss a single workout. Here, in Barnaul, his athletic talents were noticed by Gennady Smertin (father of Russian professional football player Alexei Smertin), who took the initiative to become a personal trainer for a young football player. As a result, Smertin Sr. coached Erokhin right up to the start of his professional football career. At the age of 15, Alexander Erokhin undergoes shows at the Lokomotiv Moscow club.
After the demonstration match, where Alexander Erokhin acted as a midfielder and showed a decent result, the coaching staff of the “railwaymen” was convinced that this football player was a good find for the club. The young footballer was accepted into the Moscow club, here Erokhin signs his first professional contract. Contract with Moldavian Sheriff
At the age of 17, the guy receives a contract offer from the Moldavian football club “Sheriff”. Soon Erokhin moved to live in Tiraspol, where he first put on the “yellow-black” uniform. The football competence of the young midfielder turned the newcomer into a key player of the foundation, and this is not surprising, because Erokhin managed to score in his debut match against Zimbru. Alexander’s game was noteworthy in that he managed to work out both in the attacking and in the defensive line, he was the connecting link in the team. In the 2008-2009 season, Alexander Erokhin became the top scorer in the team, he had 18 goals scored, as well as 23 “assist”. Together with Sheriff, the Russian midfielder managed to win the gold medals of the Moldova national football division and become the owner of the Moldova Cup.
In the same season, the team took part in the Commonwealth Cup draw, where Erokhin “shipped” three goals to Shakhtar Donetsk, scoring a hat-trick.
Alexander Erokhin - a football player who works wonders
In the 2009/2010 season, Alexander helped Sheriff successfully perform in the European arena as part of the Europa League Cup. The team met in the third qualifying round with Zagreb Dynamo, where Erokhin scored an important goal that brought victory. Thanks to the Russian midfielder, “Sheriff” for the first time in its history entered the fourth round of the Europa League. In September 2010, the “Sheriff” took Dynamo Kiev, where Erokhin also managed to score a goal: running to the goalkeeper's opponent, he stood in the way of the ball that Kiev goalkeeper Denis Boyko wanted to knock out: as a result, the ball bounced off Erokhin’s back and flew over to the Dynamo goal. The match ended with a total score of 2-0 in favor of the Moldavian team. After a successful series of “European Cup” performances, many foreign clubs became interested in Erokhin.
