On February 29, 2016, the country shuddered at the horrific crime against the child. On this day, Gulchehra Bobokulova killed and beheaded a four-year-old girl. After that, she set fire to the apartment and left her with the head of a child in a bag. The victim of this terrible crime was Anastasia Meshcheryakova. The killer worked in the Meshcheryakov family for the past three years as a nanny.
Scary Day - February 29, 2016
Little Nastya suffered from a serious illness and could not attend kindergarten. Large amounts of money were required for the daughter’s treatment, so both parents from the Meshcheryakov family had to work. That day, Nastya's parents, as usual, went to work, leaving their daughter in the care of a nanny. They did not think about any excitement or experience, because Gulchehra had been working in their family for several years and got along well with the child. After waiting for the adults to leave the apartment, Gulchehra killed the girl, beheaded her and set fire to the apartment. The neighbors, smelling smoke, called firefighters. When the fire was completely extinguished, it turned out that the apartment was completely burnt out, but the worst was under the burnt debris - this is the decapitated corpse of Anastasia Meshcheryakova. At this time, the killer got by taxi to the Oktyabrskaya Pole metro station. A taxi driver who was carrying a woman with a package, not suspecting that he was there, did not notice anything unusual in her behavior. In other words, the criminal, strangling and decapitating the child, behaved absolutely calmly and was fully aware of her actions. Having reached the subway, she began to perform prayer right on the street. At the policeman’s request for documents, Gulchehr showed the child’s head and threatened to blow everything up.
Criminal Detention
The police officers who were on duty that day near the metro reacted very quickly and competently. Having called reinforcements on the radio, they threw all their forces to evacuate passers-by from the scene. It took them about an hour to take a huge mass of people who were in the subway at that time outside the cordon. At some point, Gulchehra got up from the prayer rug and went towards the cordon. One of the police officers, without thinking for a minute, knocked her to the ground and covered her with his body. This courageous act could save hundreds of lives of ordinary people, if the explosion that the criminal had warned about would still sound. The murder of Anastasia Meshcheryakova is probably the most terrible and cruel in recent years, striking with its cynicism and inhumanity.
Gulchehra Bobokulova - who is she?
Gulchekhra Bobokulova joined the Meshcheryakov family on a good recommendation. Before that, she already worked in the family as a nanny. There were no complaints from the parents about the nanny for almost two years. She lived with her family in the apartment and even went with them to visit the homeland of the head of the family. Already after Anastasia Viktorovna Meshcheryakova died at the hands of the nanny, her father recalls that recently Gulchekhra began to behave somehow strange. Spent a lot of time on the Internet, constantly corresponded with someone, became closed and taciturn. All this began to happen to a woman after meeting with Tajik Mamur Dzhurakulov. More precisely, after a trip with him to Tajikistan. Upon her return, Gulchehra began to pray and devote a lot of time to this. Parents attributed the unusual behavior of the nanny to mere fatigue, because caring for a sick child took a lot of energy. They even suggested that Bobokulova change her job, but she categorically refused.
Investigation of the case
An investigative experiment was conducted the night immediately after the arrest. Gulchekhra Bobokulova, the main participant in this experiment, described in detail all her actions on that terrible day, explaining that she acted in the name of Allah. Police officers immediately sent a request to Uzbekistan - the homeland of the criminal. The answer came immediately. It turned out that Gulchehra was married twice, from her first marriage has three children. The state of her mental health, according to relatives and friends, has not been considered normal for a long time. Doctors at the local hospital where Bobokulova resided diagnosed her with schizophrenia. It is said that the woman’s first marriage broke up precisely for this reason. After the arrest, she was sent for a psychiatric examination. To date, the results of the examination have already been obtained, but in the interests of the investigation have not yet been made public. It is only known that Bobokulova has really serious mental health problems, and so instead of the dock she was sent to compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital. Anastasia Meshcheryakova, the murdered girl, of course, will not be resurrected, but I would very much like such a ruthless killer to suffer a deserved punishment.
Funeral girls
On March 5, 2016, little Anastasia Meshcheryakova was buried in her father’s homeland, in the city of Livny, Oryol Region. Parents until recently did not inform the public of the exact date of the funeral. Despite this, a lot of people came to say goodbye to the girl that day. Nastya's parents, her older brother and all close relatives supported each other at this terrible moment. Even outsiders could not hold back their tears, looking at this terrible tragedy. Anastasia Meshcheryakova became a victim of a crime, shocking with its rigidity. No normal person can pass such a tragedy.
Elemental Memorials
A few days before the funeral, on March 1, 2016, people shocked and indignant at the terrible death of a small, innocent child, organized two memorials in memory of Anastasia Meshcheryakova. The first was at the entrance to the subway, where a distraught criminal with the head of a child in her arms shouted: “Allahu Akbar”. The second is at the entrance, where Anastasia Meshcheryakova lived with her parents and older brother. People brought toys, sweets and flowers here.

Literally in one day, a normal, prosperous family lost everything: their beloved daughter and a roof over their heads. Nastya's parents turned to the public for help, because all their property was damaged during the fire. Heartbroken parents had nothing to organize the funeral of their daughter. Fortunately, in our country there are many caring people. Literally in a matter of days, an appeal for help to the Meshcheryakov family circled all social networks. During the week, several million rubles were collected. Nastya's parents promised that they will definitely give part of the collected funds for treatment to sick children.

After the funeral, the parents of Nastya Meshcheryakova addressed the public with thanks to everyone who did not remain indifferent to their grief and took part in raising funds for the funeral of their daughter and the restoration of the burnt apartment. Anastasia Meshcheryakova (Murom, Moscow, Kazan and all other cities of our country did not remain aloof from this tragedy) will forever remain in the memory of not only her family, but also many people who were shocked by her ridiculous and undeserved death.
