Charlie White is an American professional skater and dancer who has been paired with Meryl Davis since 1997.

Biography
Charlie White was born in 1987, October 24. Place of birth: Royal Oak city (Michigan, United States of America). From childhood, he revealed himself as a creative person: in kindergarten, Charlie began to play the violin, in his school years began to get involved in poetry, and already in his student days he was one of the main activists. In 2005, White entered the University of Michigan at the Department of Political Science. Here he played hockey for the student team and took part in the state championship. Charlie currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. April 25, 2015 married a Canadian dancer Tanith Belbin.
Early career
At the age of five, he began to skate. Initially competed as a single skater and ice dancer. As a solo skater, he won a bronze medal at the 2004 United States Championship among juniors. According to the results of the 2005/06 season, Charlie White gave up figure skating, began to hone his skills for performances in the ice dancing genre.
At the age of seven, the guy began to dance on ice. In 1997, when White was 10 years old, he met his dance partner Meryl Davis. Since that time, they have not parted - they trained together, went to competitions together, achieved success together, and again, they rejoiced together at this success.
In their first dance season, Charlie and Davis reached the level of silver medals at the Youth Olympic Games in the category of under 16 years. Junior career
In the 2003/04 season, Davis and White became champions of the Championship Section tournament, and a few months later won a silver medal in the U.S. Junior League. These achievements provided them with trips to the Junior World Championships, where they took 13th place.
In the 2004/05 season, the dance couple won two bronzes in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. In the middle of the season, Charlie White gets a serious ankle injury, which is why they had to set their skates aside for the next six months. Despite this, the pair achieved impressive results the following year: silver in the final of the Junior Grand Prix, triumph at the US Championship and bronze medals in the world championship among juniors.
The professional career of Charlie White and Meryl Davis
In the 2006/07 season, Davis and White made their debut in the professional adult league, both nationally and internationally. At the 2007 United States Championship, they won a bronze medal, took 4th place in the tournament of four continents and 7th in the world championship. At the 2006-2007 NKH Trophy Grand Prix, they became the first couple to earn all four levels in their dance elements.
In the 2007/08 season, the pair achieved the following results: second place in the championship of the United States of America, second in the championship of four continents and 6th position in the world championship. The following season, Charlie and Davis earned their debut gold at the Grand Prix and took 3rd place in the Cup of Russia tournament. Also, 2009 was remembered for the fact that this sweet couple took first place in the national championship, but it is worth noting that then the tournament was held without the participation of eternal leaders - a pair of Tanith Belbin (White's future wife) and Benjamin Agosto.
