Youth
Filatov was born in Kazan on December 4, 1946. Due to the work of his father (he was a radio operator), the family often moved from one city to another. When the boy was 7 years old, his mother could not stand such a lifestyle and divorced, remaining with her son in Ashgabat. There he went to school.
The craving for art at Filatov appeared at an early age. Already at the age of 15, he received his first fee for a printed fable at the Komsomolets of Turkmenistan.
