Navarrete was born on February 22, 1988 in Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco, Mexico, where she spent her childhood and youth.
The Jimena family belongs to the middle class. Her father, Carlos Navarrete, works as a dentist, and her mother, Gabriella Rosetta, is a housewife. Jimena also has a younger sister.
