Jesse Ventura is the pseudonym of a famous American actor, politician, presenter of television and radio shows. The real name of this multi-faceted person is James George Janos. Almost every one of you could see him in the movie "Running Man" directed by Paul Michael Glazer with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role.
Jesse was also the Governor of Minnesota, and also a famous wrestler. In the World Wrestling Federation, he performed as Jesse Body Ventura and in 2004 ended up in the Federation Hall of Fame.
Childhood and youth
James was born July 15, 1951 in the city of Minneapolis, in the US state of Minnesota. His mother, Bernis Marta, is German by nationality, and his father, George William Janos, is a Slovak.
As a child, Jesse went to Cooper Elementary School, and then to Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis.
After graduating from school, the guy went to serve in the army. From 1969 to 1975, Jesse served in the U.S. Navy. The future politician took part in the war in Vietnam. In the future, this helped James credibly play the role of special forces in the movie.
