Man considers himself the crown of nature. Although not the most powerful, agile and fastest creature in the world. By the way, man also has a resourcefulness and cunning to learn from. Moreover, cunning skills are better developed not among the most powerful animals, but in smaller ones, which are harder to get food. Such animals in the process of evolution have adapted to the environment so much that the prey they are hunting for does not even suspect it. Rating the most cunning creatures is quite difficult to compose, since their dexterity is manifested in different ways. Therefore, the next article presents the most cunning of them.

A fox

In almost all the peoples of the world, especially among the Slavs, it is believed that the most cunning animal is a fox. There are sayings and fables about her. The animal is small in size, so the beast will not succeed in feeding, hoping solely on its own physical forces.

It’s probably not worth talking about how a fox robs chicken coops; we heard about this. And the animal from South America loves the eggs of large birds, in particular the rhea. The beast can wait a long time until the bird leaves the nest, then carefully creeps up to it and steals the egg. However, it is too large, so the fox rolls it to the nearest stone, smashes it and eats the contents.

Rat

This animal for many centuries lives next to man, and it is not for nothing that we consider him the most cunning animal on the planet. In the Middle Ages, rats had a generally mystical attitude, because they could destroy entire settlements. Now they do not carry such a threat, but this does not mean at all that the animal has become less dodgy.

In addition to the fact that the rat tolerates increased radiation background - it is more a genetic mutation, the animal is quite difficult to poison with food. A rat is a creature that is suspicious of absolutely everything, including new food. They will sniff it for a long time, then they will bite off a small piece and wait for a while, if it becomes bad, they will not eat. It also happens with traps that they successfully circumvent.

Historical facts prove that this animal has the gift of foresight. They flee not only from a sinking ship, but also from any place where soon something will happen. Even during the Second World War, people noticed this, and if the rats ran away from home, then the bombing would soon be.

An animal easily establishes a causal relationship, which is manifested in the rapid passage of a maze of any complexity.

Rats today do a lot of damage to humans. They are able to penetrate almost any gap and gnaw any objects. For example, in America, rats cause annual damage totaling $ 19 million by damaging communications (wires).

Cantile snake

This is one of the most cunning animals in Central America and Mexico. Outwardly, amphibian is very similar to a copper-headed viper. For humans, a snake bite is very dangerous. If you do not provide medical assistance on time, then your kidneys may refuse, and everything will end in death. However, the cantile snake venom protects and uses it only in extreme cases. She has a white or yellow tip on her tail tip. In the process of hunting, she moves her tail, and it seems that this is a moving worm. It is with such a trick that an animal attracts its prey: small animals. And the moment the victim approaches a suitable distance, the snake releases poison.

Dolphins

These are cute mammals with intelligence almost like a human being, the resourcefulness of their mind allows us to call them the most cunning animals.

For example, killer whales (also classified as dolphins) learned to knock fish into a tight lump and only then eat it. If they decide to attack the whale, then the flock will in no case allow diving prey under water, because they can’t dive deeply. And if there is a fur seal on the ice, then the killer whale instantly breaks his skull so that the victim falls into the water.

Bottlenose dolphins act a little differently, they drive small fish in shallow water. Then they create a screen of sand and foam, so that she could not get out, and dine.

Some dolphins use a sea sponge so as not to get hurt on sharp stones, putting it on their faces.

These mammals are capable of learning. So, in dolphinariums noticed that dolphins can learn how to remove garbage from the pool. It takes only a couple of times to reward the animal for bringing the dead seagull or other garbage. At the same time, killer whales went even further. After some time, they began to leave the remains of the fish and catch gulls on them, then bringing them to people and getting a lot of fish for it.

Raven

From ancient times this bird is a standard of wisdom. But wisdom is not only intelligence and experience, but ingenuity and cunning.

For example, in Japan, these birds at the crossings, when pedestrians crossed the road, lay nuts. When the red light comes on again, they are already picking up chopped fruits. Isn't that the trickiest animal in the world? A similar thing can be observed with us when a raven drops nuts from tall trees.

You can often watch the birds deftly deceive cats and dogs. While one of them teases the animal, the other eats, then they swap places.

Aesop even wrote about unique quick wit. In support of this, he said: the crow was furthermore a narrow container with water at the bottom, and he threw stones and other objects inside until the water level rose.

Crows even know how to use foreign objects to get food. They use sticks to extract insects from crevices. They can even crochet the wire to make it more convenient to use. In the future, they even hide successful tools in order to use them in the future.

Feline representatives

You can talk about these animals constantly. In particular, the jaguar is one of the most unique and rare animals on the planet. In order to lure fish, the beast uses its tail, immersing it in a pond and simulating moving fruits or floating insects. As the fish draws near, a wild cat attacks.

Another tricky feline is the long-tailed cat Margay, who also lives in South and Central America. This animal is small in size, about the size of a domestic cat, which does not mind eating monkeys. To lure prey, Margay imitates the baby's voice, attracting monkeys. By the way, they say that the jaguar does the same.

Vulture turtle

This is the most cunning animal that lives in freshwater in America. To enjoy fish, the turtle opens its mouth, in which there is a tongue, very reminiscent of a worm. Stirring them, she attracts fish. As soon as the prey tries to grab the “worm”, the turtle’s mouth shuts.

Cuckoo

What is the trickiest animal? There is also such a bird - the cuckoo, which does not want to take care of its offspring at all. But so that the chicks can grow, she manages to lay her eggs in the nests of blackbirds, other birds, and even in the caves of miniature rabbits. At the same time, an unlucky mother, laying an egg, takes one of the nests so that no one notices the substitution.

The chicks themselves, after hatching, also act very insidiously. They simply push other eggs or chicks out of the nest, especially if there is not enough food. Quite often, adoptive parents recognize fraud, so out of 5 cuckoos, as a rule, only one survives.
