This day Martina Vos will not forget soon. Martina is a volunteer, she collaborates with a shelter for stray cats, located in the Belgian city of Limburg. Once Martina and her fellow volunteers came to the rescue of a man who found a small black kitten, which, judging by the size, was only a few days old.
"Kitten" is looking for a family
Since the inspection of the area where the baby was found did not bring the expected results (neither the mother of the animal, nor his brothers and sisters were nearby), Vos decided that it was time to find a foster mother.
Taking the kitten in her arms, Martina immediately noticed that something was wrong with him: he was much heavier than a newborn cat should be, and he behaved completely feline. Having examined the find closer, the volunteer no longer doubted that she was holding a completely different beast in her hands.
After consulting with the nearest wildlife rescue center, Vos found out that the rescued animal was a fox.
“My last name (Vos) is translated from Dutch as“ fox. To meet a fox in real life is my old dream. Looking at the little fox, whom I will not let die, we can say that my dream has come true! ”, Martin Vos admitted to reporters.
Every weekend I cook banana bread: it consists of only three ingredients
For several days in a row I’ve been cooking Universal mushrooms, and don’t botherThe performer of "Sad Dance" is getting married soon (new photos of the chosen one)
The little fox will be under the supervision of experts until it grows up. Then he will be returned back to the wild.
What are the similarities and differences between foxes and cats?
Foxes and cats, as it turned out, have a lot in common. Both species belong to nocturnal animals, very jumping and graceful (cats, of course, are more plastic). Both those and others are able to penetrate into narrow and seemingly impassable gaps. Both animals possess fluffy tail and very soft hair. Both cats and foxes are big proud, do not forgive insults.
The dissimilarity of the mentioned representatives of the animal world is manifested in the exterior and manner of behavior. A fox, unlike a cat, is not independent. She needs round-the-clock attention from the owner. In addition, the fox is very difficult to get used to living indoors. If the owner is not involved in her upbringing, she will grow up a wild beast.
