A boy was born on August 20, 1919 in the city of Tver. Yuri’s mom, Zinaida, was a housewife. His father, Andrei, devoted himself to party work. Given the activities of the pope, Zhdanov’s childhood was markedly different from the rest of his peers. Unfortunately, he did not spend much time with his father, since he spent most of his time at work. Mom tried to compensate her son for the lack of paternal attention.

In school years, Yuri Zhdanov studied perfectly and was always respected among classmates. Teachers praised him not only for excellence in learning, but also for exemplary behavior.

Having received a certificate, the hero of our article went to conquer Moscow State University, where he dreamed of studying at the Faculty of Chemistry. The first time he passed the entrance exams and was admitted to the ranks of students. Graduation from the university Yuri Zhdanov coincided with the outbreak of the 1941 war. He was immediately called up to serve in the Main Political Administration of the Red Army as an instructor.

Scientific activity

Yuri Zhdanov began workdays immediately after demobilization. In parallel with this, he defended his doctoral dissertation and became a graduate student at the Institute of Philosophical Sciences of the USSR. A mentor in science for him was then B.M. Cedars. Under his leadership in 1948, Yuri successfully defended his thesis. He became a candidate of philosophical sciences. After this, Zhdanov is completely immersed in the life and problems of society.

This leads to the fact that Yuri Andreevich goes to work in the party bodies, is engaged in it for the next 10 years of his life. However, this did not force him to quit science. He even managed to teach students in the walls of his own university. In 1957, the scientist defended another candidate's work, after which he was awarded the title of assistant professor. Then Zhdanov received an offer to become a rector at one of Rostov's universities. In 1961, he was finally approved as a professor.

His works were published in more than 100 publications, were the most discussed at many international congresses and congresses.

Some of the scientist's works were associated with pyrilic salts. Zhdanov also developed a completely unique type of tautometry, allowing in-depth study of many chemical and biochemical processes. In 1974, this achievement of Yuri Andreevich was recognized as a scientific discovery.

Yuri Zhdanov also came up with the world's first and only mathematical model of the Sea of ​​Azov. So far, no one has succeeded in repeating or creating a semblance of this invention.

Personal life

The personal life of our hero was not the happiest. The family and children of Yuri Andreyevich Zhdanov did not last long in his fate.

The wife of Stalin was Svetlana Aliluyeva. So there were circumstances that she always obeyed the will of her father, and he made a choice in her place, even in a relationship. Joseph Stalin decided that it was Yuri Zhdanov who should have become the daughter’s husband. Before the official marriage (1949), the couple had never seen each other. It is also known that Svetlana was not getting married for the first time. Prior to that, she was married to Grigory Morozov. She gave birth to a son to him, who was named as grandfather - Joseph.

During the marriage with Yuri Zhdanov, an agreement was concluded that the man will adopt the child of Svetlana. And so it happened. And in 1950, his wife gave him a daughter, whom they named Katya. When the children of Yuri Zhdanov and Aliluyeva were still small, the couple broke up. In some publications at that time their photos appeared, where facial expressions did not look happy. Both were unsmiling, gloomy, and longing in their eyes.

After the divorce, Svetlana had many more novels, which also ended in parting. In 2018, an eight-part picture was released, which spoke about Aliluyeva’s difficult relationship with her father. The role of Zhdanov in this project went to Oleg Osipov, whom he played flawlessly. Film critics praised the actor for such a brilliant work.
