At 31, a rare entrepreneur manages to become the main supplier of medicines to such a large state as Russia. However, the company of Alexei Evgenievich Repik was able to win more than all tenders in this area. So far, the press and experts have not finally decided who he is - a business genius or just a dummy figure, behind which there are high-ranking officials. A businessman prefers to be thought of as a “boot” under the “roof” of the FSB.

early years

The parents of Alexei Evgenyevich Repik (born August 27, 1979 in Moscow) are scientists. Mom, Valeria Daeva, specialized in the development of new construction materials and precast concrete plants, has a Ph.D. Dad - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Evgeny Repik.

Alexey received a certificate of secondary education at the age of 15, passing exams externally. The guy always dreamed about the profession of a historian and applied for the history department of Moscow State University. However, after passing the entrance exams in Russian and English, “excellent” in the profile exam failed him. The next year, Repik decided to enter the Higher School of Economics (which he graduated in 2003) and work in parallel. The work biography of Alexei Evgenievich Repik began in the city hospital with the post of economist.

First success

Over the course of three years of work, the young employee gained extensive experience, having studied in practice the economic mechanism of the functioning of the hospital. As Repik himself recalls, he had to defend the estimate for the next budget year in the city health department at the age of 16, since the head of the planning department was often absent due to illness. Then he gained experience in negotiating with officials, which was useful in the future with participation in public procurement.

The ability of the young employee was appreciated at the company "Rosmedkomplekt", which was located on the territory of the hospital. He was lured for a salary of $ 300 - good money for a second-year student. Since he knew well what hospitals needed, he quickly managed to significantly increase sales. A year later, Alexei Evgenyevich Repik already held the position of Director of Sales with a salary of $ 1, 000. However, new shareholders appeared in the company, and he was fired with a scandal, blaming him for the losses.

In 2001, Repik opened his own company, R-Pharm. He raised a starting capital of approximately $ 40, 000 by selling a car and adding to them 15, 000 that his mother gave him. The new company was engaged in the supply of medicines to hospitals, at first the same as Rosmedkomplekt. The largest client was the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital (seven positions worth 91.6 million rubles).

The first major success came to Alexei Evgenievich Repik in 2006, when R-Pharm managed to become a major player in the Russian drug market. His company won tenders for the supply of expensive drugs under the national supplementary drug supply program, in which citizens eligible for benefits received prescription drugs, which were then paid by the government. R-Pharm was selected by the supplier in several areas: medicines for hemophilia, oncology, diabetes and multiple sclerosis.

R-Farm successfully entered the world market, branches were opened in the USA, Turkey and Japan. In 2014, a technology center was purchased in Germany (Bavaria).
