Biography
Alois Branch was born on June 6, 1929 in Riga, which is the largest city in the Baltic States and at the same time the capital of Latvia. It should be noted that the director Alois Branch, together with his colleague Hertz Frank in 1968, shot one of his most popular cinematographic projects, entitled “Without Legends”. This documentary became the harbinger of the picture known today as the Man from Marble, which was written by Andrzej Wajda in 1978.

The last years of life and death
After the premiere of the popular film "Anna", which was shot by order of the Catholic Church, the man no longer took up work, and two years later he died suddenly. The date of death is October 28, 1998, and the reason is pretty simple - an extensive heart attack.
The famous director to date was buried at the Mikel cemetery in Riga, and in honor of his memory a documentary film was shot, directed by Tsane, and the script for it was written by Ryadovich. It is also worth noting that the man had Asya Brench, who did not marry after his death.
