The actor was born on May 2, 1958 in the Nizhny Tagil microdistrict according to modern designations. He has a sister and three second cousins. Apparently, this profession attracted him more, because in 1987 he left the profession of a veterinarian and became a clown in a theater called "Lyceum", where since 1998 he served as general director. In 2003, due to the inability to combine a creative career with work as a manager, he left this post.

Now the actor lives and is engaged in activities in St. Petersburg.

Personal life

At the Actor’s House in Leningrad, Anvar Libabov met his only wife, Natalya, who then worked as a theater critic, journalist, and newspaper editor. As the actor himself says, when he saw this woman for the first time, he realized that he immediately fell in love. The couple officially formalized their relationship when their only daughter, Eugene, was already at school. An art critic by education, now she is fond of writing books, mainly about music, and Anvar's wife is a creative film producer. He and his wife have always lived and still live in love and harmony.

The beginning of creative activity

Anvar Libabov began to engage in his favorite business - namely, playing on the stage as a young student. He gained his first experience by participating in such entertaining events as KVN (Club of the Fun and Inventive), STEM (Student Theater of Pop Miniatures) and the performances of the student drama theater in various works.

Even working as a veterinarian, Anwar did not give up creativity: he sang in a rural choir, collaborated with the Lyceum Theater, where he was subsequently invited to work.

On the account of the actor more than 20 films, where he played roles of varying complexity, about 15 performances in theater performances and 4 participation in concert projects of the Nautilus-Pompilius, Na-Na groups in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

In 1986, he first portrayed a clown in the musical film "How to Become a Star." Further, Anvar Libabov got only secondary roles, where he did not need to talk a lot.

Libabov played most of his theatrical roles at the Lyceum Theater. Awards

In 1994, the actor received a prize at the Constellation Film Festival for the best supporting role in the film Castle. Despite the fact that Anwar practically didn’t speak in this film, he managed to play beautifully and talentedly.
