History
The history of the Husky Center in Chelyabinsk began in 2007. The family of young entrepreneurs Dashevsky, having settled in a new spacious house, acquired for their children two dogs of the Samoyed husky breed - Viking and Caesar. Smart, strong and incredibly beautiful animals so captivated the hearts of all family members that the entrepreneurs decided to start breeding these dogs.
Near Chelyabinsk, a plot of land was purchased with funds taken from the main business: the Dashevsky family owns a network of Express Optics salons. Some buildings Dashevsky designed and built himself. At first, a nursery appeared, though not quite ordinary: the residents of Chelyabinsk came here as whole families to ride sleds with huskies and Samoyed huskies. There were more and more people who wanted to spend time in nature, communicating with magnificent animals, and soon there was a need for additional services: entertainment programs, food.
Since the opening of the Husky Center, Aquilon has been visited by several hundred thousand people. The main stream of guests was in the winter, so the owner of the complex had to think about how to fill it in the summer. It was necessary to justify the maintenance of animals. So, various locations and quests appeared: a forge, a tea house. One of the summer features of the complex was “gold mining” - children in special equipment washed sand, looking for grains of “gold”.
To interest young gold miners, the center’s employees put “gold” brass nuggets in the sand. Initially, only Samoyeds were bred in the complex. The founders of the nursery - Caesar and Viking still live here. These are wise, strong and very sociable animals, which all visitors to the husky center in Chelyabinsk are sure to get to know. A little later, the businessman bought husky dogs, faster and more suitable for running dogs.
Description of the complex
Today, the Aquilon Husky Center occupies a vast territory of twenty hectares. There is a museum and a restaurant, a forge and a tea house, a complex for gold mining, a tent for various events, a nursery. Endless fields and picturesque birch groves approach the territory of the complex.
The priority area in the activities of the Husky Center “Akvilon” is the development of ecological and ethnic tourism in the Southern Urals. A special place is given to the organization of children's excursion programs.
Nursery
Today in a kennel in excellent conditions contains about a hundred dogs of different breeds: Samoyed huskies, Siberian husky, Alaskan Malamutes. By the way, everyone can buy puppies here. Guests of the complex get acquainted with Samoyeds during the tour. Dogs are released for contact communication. Fluffy snow-white "cubs" delight not only kids, but also adult visitors. These are very kind and friendly animals, completely devoid of aggression: lend a hand - and the Samoyed will immediately lick it.
Each dog occupies a separate, fairly spacious enclosure. Animals spend free time from training, walking and sledding in them. Dogs are isolated from each other, which is done for their own good. Although they are not aggressive towards people, they can start a fight between themselves.
The kennel is located outside the city, so the dogs have enough space for long walks and comfortable living. Every day for several hours the dogs are taken out into the forest or in the field for training and walking. There they learn to ride in teams and learn obedience.
The territory of the Husky Center nursery in Chelyabinsk is divided into three zones. It even has its own maternity ward. But visitors will not be able to enter there. Nearby is a veterinary station where experienced specialists work, medicines are stored, and routine vaccinations are carried out.
The complex has its own cynological service throughout the year - in the low season (summer) it is four people, in the winter - ten. There is also an experienced puppy grower. Siberian husky can only be admired from afar - they are kept in another zone. And this is not at all because Husky is more aggressive than Samoyeds. On the contrary. These wolf-like animals simply adore people, and especially children.
They are so actively expressing their enthusiasm for meeting and meeting that they can easily fall down and lick from the top of their legs.
