Publication Policy

In July 2016, Solovyov gave an interview to the correspondent of the publication Russian Planet. In it, the politician noted that often there are facts of registration of undeclared real estate for legal entities registered with relatives of officials.

According to Soloviev, it would be advisable to make a mandatory annual report in the declarations of lawmakers and civil servants about the presence of members of their families in Russian and foreign commercial structures.

To date, the declaration of the deputy or official contains information regarding the income of his and his wife during the reporting year, the availability of real estate, transport, land for him, his wife and children. Soloviev considers it necessary to make this list wider so that the voter can better understand what the representative of the government or the official and his relatives are doing, hiding behind a legal entity.

This additional information for the relevant inspection authorities will help to timely identify various unseemly and criminal acts by unscrupulous public servants.

About fictitious divorces

In the summer of 2016, Solovyov, in order to more effectively combat corruption, proposed to consider the spouses of the formerly divorced official and his ex-wife, if between them "continued marriage".

Solovyov knows signs pointing to the "preservation of marriage". Some officials, formally terminating the marriage, live together, jointly manage the household. At the same time, it becomes possible to apply for the “former” spouse of illegally obtained property.

An article in Pravda

In January of this year, Soloviev published an article in the Pravda newspaper entitled “Reprisal”.

In it, he talked about sending to Poltavchenko (the head of St. Petersburg) an appeal signed by the head of the Communist Party Zyuganov, expressing indignation at the fact that the St. Petersburg Committee on Transport Infrastructure unreasonably fined the St. Petersburg branch of the Communist Party in the amount of half a million rubles for violations of organization of a festive procession movement dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the October Revolution.

Zyuganov noted that prior to the march, all the necessary relevant approvals had been passed, during the celebration of the remarks by the accompanying traffic police officers, it was not noted.

Unreasonable administrative prosecution of the city branch of the Communist Party - an attempt to create far-fetched obstacles of the Communist Party in organizing large-scale events dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution in November of this year.

Gubernatorial Elections

Last year, Solovyov intended to take part in the election of the governor of the Tver region. However, the regional election commission refused to register him as a candidate for this post, citing the fact that electoral signatures in his support were collected only in 27, and not in 33 municipalities.

The politician filed a lawsuit in the regional court of Tver to annul the resolution of the regional election committee regarding the refusal to register him. The court denied the claim to Vadim Solovyov.
