With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the plant repeatedly changed its name and owners, and its facilities were privatized. Today, the Palace of Culture is a private property. It is located on the square named after P. Mochalov - the first director of a metallurgical plant built in 1951. The address of the institution is 75 Metallurgov Avenue.

Description

The two-story building was designed by I. Matveev and amazes with its splendor with external minimalism. The facade is decorated with columns and three sculptural compositions in the style of the Soviet era. The main beauty inside is expensive furniture, luxurious grand staircases, crystal chandeliers.

Modern acoustics makes the main hall attractive for festivals and concerts. At the same time, Metallurg recreation center (Samara) is able to accommodate 820 people both in the stalls and on the balconies - the central and two side ones. It offers spectators soft comfort chairs with a significant distance between the rows.
