Why then do we need an economy?

So, a person working directly in the economic sphere may argue that this is a kind of science that studies the direction of society spending certain resources. Philosophers explain the fact that an economy is needed for a person, as a kind of psychology of human behavior in the production sphere. And housewives boldly answer that it is a science of effective housekeeping. The student, when asked why the economy is needed, can answer that to provide a special part of human life.

History of the concept

As a phenomenon, the economy arose quite a long time ago, when there were neither monetary systems, nor money itself. At that time, man was engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture. During the very first exchanges of the results of their activities between people, the economy was born.

It has become so firmly entrenched in our lives that they talk about it in various news, magazines, newspapers and films (and not only popular science). However, the question always remains relevant: what is the economy for and is it possible to do without it?

Meeting the needs - the main purpose of the economy

Each individual has specific needs, the most elementary of which are clothing, food and drink. When considering this issue, one can see more deeply other needs in families. So, at the level of cities and other settlements, it is easy to identify such needs as transport, drugs, and the like. It is in meeting these needs that one can see why the economy is needed.

For example, a hospital drug must be purchased that is purchased for cash. However, first you need to purchase the substance from which this tool is made. And raw materials are extracted from natural sources or produced chemically. All of the above are resources that have a certain limitation, and only the economy is able to effectively distribute them.

Thus, when clarifying the essence of what the economy is for, it can be confidently stated that the science of this industry is simply necessary for a person to make the right decisions when using specific resources. This will avoid their ineffective distribution in the future.
