Dmitry Lebedev was born on May 13, 1986 in the city of Soligorsk (Minsk Region, Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic). Born and raised in a sports family. Dmitry played as an extreme midfielder and had high speed, and his brother Alexander was always a clean forward with good head-playing skills.

Dmitry is a pupil of the Shakhtar Soligorsk club, in which he played from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, D. Lebedev played for the youth team of MT3-RIPO (the club is now called Partizan), after which he began to play at a professional level.

Professional football career: first clubs, first serious injuries

In 2007, Dmitry Lebedev signed his first professional contract with the Smorgoni team. In the main team Dmitry often showed high-quality football. Lebedev was an excellent techie with incredible attacking potential, and almost immediately began to score and distribute assists to partners. Spent two seasons here, playing in 61 matches and scoring eight goals.
