History of creation
Chaillot Palace in Paris was built specifically for the World Exhibition, which took place in 1937. At this time, new buildings with an unusual architectural style were actively being built in the capital. The local authorities really wanted to impress many guests with the grandeur and pomp of Paris.
The main architect of the palace was the famous French architect Jacques Carl, and L. Azem and L. Boileau helped him. The authorities that acted as the customers chose these architects not by chance, they became the owners of the Grand Prix in Rome in the field of architectural art.
The territory chosen for the construction of the building was occupied by the Trocadero Palace, built in 1878. The authorities decided that he did not correspond to the image and style of Paris, and gave permission for his demolition. The developer destroyed the Trocadero, cleared the site for the construction of the palace and began its construction.

The Museum of Man began its work immediately after the opening of the Chaillot Palace in the 16th arrondissement of Paris in 1937, and Paul Rivet is considered its creator.
