Over the past four decades, Josh Simpson has carefully crafted intricate little planets out of glass - and they are hidden around the world so people can find them.
The glazier - but rather the glass artist - from Shelburn Falls, Mass., Made more than 3, 000 "endless planets" in his workshop - small, intricate globes. This project "out of this world" was inspired by a cult photograph of the Earth, taken by Apollo astronauts in the 1970s.
His colorful little creations are now hidden around the world, left as gifts for passers-by, so that unsuspecting strangers can experience the joy of discovering them. Or perhaps in the distant future, people will be wondering about their origin.
