Felipe Salvador Caicedo Coroso is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a striker in the Italian club Lazio. Since 2005, the player has represented his national team internationally in all tournaments. In total, he played 66 matches with Ecuador and scored 22 goals. In September 2017, Felipe Caichedo publicly announced his completion of an international career, the reason for this decision was the departure of head coach Gustavo Quinteros.

Felipe Caichedo was born on September 5, 1988 in the city of Guyakil, Ecuador. In an interview, a football player spoke about his difficult childhood. Professional career: debut for Basel, first titles
In 2005, Swiss scouts came to Ecuador to search for young football talents. After attending the Rocafuerte training, they immediately drew attention to striker F. Caichedo.
