Globalization is the result of a very complex alloy of economic, civilizational, social, political and many other processes in the modern world. However, among these countless factors, it is necessary to highlight the huge changes in productive forces, world trade, the media and specialization. Many researchers say primarily that economic globalization is taking place.

Trade and technology are enveloping the world with newer and newer network connections, making national borders more transparent. As a result of globalization, the weight of national sovereignty is significantly changing and decreasing, undermining the position of the state in the role of the main subject in the system of international relations. It turns out that all the changes occurring in the productive forces become an indispensable source of changes in all other areas of life, including the political one.

Globalization: pros and cons for society

From what has been said above, a very important conclusion can be drawn: if as an inevitable result of globalization we get a reduction in sovereignty, then together with this we will certainly face the maturing of tremendous changes in the behavior of states as a whole, as well as companies and groups, while masses of ordinary people cannot be excluded. Usually, we argue about the fate of states very often, and this issue is much less discussed. It is important to understand that under the pressure of modern economic and technical forces, national borders are erased. The reason for this is many factors, including the significant development of transport, trade, an increase in the role of TNCs, international capital and others. During globalization in the world, it is not states that enter into interaction, but territories and regions. The fastest growing areas are supranational. One example is the development of the Internet or space technology, which is being used at an increasingly high rate for commercial purposes. It turns out that modern man takes on the tasks of a mini-station, busy with the reception and transmission of various information, while bypassing the existing national borders - this is globalization, the pros and cons of which we are considering. But here the issue was considered from the point of view of society, and now it is worth looking from a different perspective.

Globalization: Pros and Cons for National Economies

The close interconnection of state economies often becomes the reason for a very quick and completely uncontrolled response to the occurrence of local crises in different places of the planet. This was confirmed by financial crises in different countries, which have not yet ended. By their nature, financial markets are volatile and unpredictable. One of the main reasons for such instability is the lag of political mechanisms from the economy, which has long outgrown national borders and does not require any kind of supranational planning. It turns out that globalization, the pros and cons of which are discussed here, requires a new world order. However, who will determine the basic rules? With the light hand of a number of political scientists, globalization looks like a process of imposing the will of the United States on the whole world, as well as establishing a new order in the world that will be beneficial only to the United States. Of course, this may turn out to be true, but no one can constantly maintain this order. This is due to the fact that the presence of any particular tendency cannot indicate that everything is already destined.

It is difficult to cover in such a small material such a concept as globalization, for and against which one can speak endlessly.
