Original appearance always attracts and attracts glances. The more unusual a person looks, the greater interest arises in his person. Often people themselves change their appearance in order to stand out from the crowd. But there are such nations that do not need to do anything, they themselves are bright and unusual.

For example, the Irish, whose appearance can definitely be called memorable and non-standard. Of course, we are not talking about all the polls representatives of Ireland, namely the typical carriers of the Irish appearance.

Let's go to the origins

The Irish people (or Celts) make a general impression of some sincere simpletons, fun people and lovers of noisy companies and the accompanying festivals of booze.

The Irish are interesting and world famous for their culture. St. Patrick's Day alone is worth it. It is celebrated with joy by residents of various countries. And the Irish tunes are loved by many fans. Some of them are even seriously keen on Irish culture and call themselves Celtoman.

Irish, whose appearance is fully consistent with their lifestyle and habits, are one of the most positive nationalities in the world.

What did the Irish men look like initially?

Initially, Celtic men looked somewhat different than modern ones. Traditionally, long hair no lower than the shoulders was considered a sign of a real Celt. They wore them straight, combed to the back of the head, or made special weaves, Irish braids. Of course, as at any time, there were Irish people who did not adhere to traditions, their heads were decorated with short haircuts.

The same applied to the beard, someone left her, and someone completely shaved them off. The nobility was characterized by shaved cheeks and chin and the presence of a mustache above the upper lip.

Depending on the place of residence, Irish, whose appearance in general and hair color in particular were variable, were proud of their data. The color of their hair ranged from very light shades to fiery red. At the same time, the owners of light hair even lightened the hair with natural means. And the red-haired Irish simply had to enjoy their honors.

The Irish were tall, their shoulders were wide, and they were athletic. The Celts were very kind to their body and tried to constantly ennoble it.

Over time, as the Celts settled in different regions, typical, pronounced, signs could somewhat disappear due to the creation of interethnic families.

Modern Irish Men

Over time, the Irish, whose appearance was originally very pronounced, partly changed.

Habitual blond and red hair now, rather, is a stereotype. Of course, they are, but literally units. Most modern Celts have dark hair and a red beard. But bright eyes and freckles are much more common. Faces in their type are narrow, one might say, sunken. Hero athletes were replaced by young Irish men of lean physique and medium height.

In the manner of dressing and serving themselves, various Irish people now exist. Appearance (a photo of an Irish man is presented in the article) can be imagined quite clearly, especially if you communicate with them personally. More specifically, three types can be distinguished:

  • Street guys who don't really hold back. They smoke and often drink. And they can easily pester a passerby with stupid questions or mockery.

  • "Handsome". The Irish, in which their roots are clearly spoken, look after themselves, have a beautiful figure, stylish clothes and a well-groomed appearance.

  • Ordinary guys. You can meet such people in any country - absolutely unremarkable outwardly personalities, without special type and distinctive features.

What did Irish women look like initially?

If you delve into the old days, the beautiful half of the Irish community was described as follows - long-haired women, and their hair was often much lower than the lower back, an incredible, blinding red color. The hair is very thick, so much so that it was difficult for their mistress to wear and cope with such wealth. But at the same time, the women themselves looked very impressive - of high growth and more than a large physique. Apart from the incredible length and beauty of the hair, the Celtic women were very similar to men. And it was not only the appearance, but the real power. Descriptions of the following content were found: "Women are able to compete with men in strength, and each can easily end even a group of aggressive rivals." The writers defined Irish women as masculine, huge representatives of humanity, with terrible features and a thundering voice. But, despite such unflattering reviews, the Irish clan continued.

Modern irish women

Centuries later, not only the Irish men changed. The appearance of the woman also changed markedly.

Two main types of Celtic women can be distinguished:

  • Flat broad face with a flat nose. Dark (often black) hair and blue (less often green) eyes.

  • Elongated face with elongated elongated nose, sunken cheeks. Blond hair and blond eyes in various shades.

When looking at a modern Irish woman, there is no feeling that she is beautiful. Even though the girl is caring for herself and fashionably dressed, it seems that “something is missing.” Charisma, attractiveness, charisma - this is more about Irish women. It is important to note here that we are talking about standard, average girls who did not resort to the help of plastic surgeons and hardware help of cosmetologists.

Among the Irish, there are practically no slender people. Modern women inherited magnificent forms from their great-great-great- and so on grandmothers.

And I want to pay special attention to hair. Celtic contemporaries are absolutely not worried about the look on their heads, and artistic “bumps” are the most common version of everyday hairstyles.

National clothing of the Irish

The Irish, whose appearance is very peculiar, traditionally wore national clothes, unusual and quite interesting.

The Irish national costume consisted of a long skirt of red or orange shades (in some exceptions, the skirts could be dark blue or green) and an elongated light shirt. It was adjacent to the waist, the sleeves reached the hands, the neck was most often rounded with frills around. A corsage was put on the shirt and a fringed shawl - on the shoulders. And on the skirt was required a large, often checkered apron. Here is such a multi-layered, but, of course, beautiful and original outfit worn by the Celts in the early centuries.

In men, the skirt (kilt) was much shorter than the female, mainly yellow-brown scale. Above is an elongated vest and a light shirt. And was obligatory cloth beret.

Currently, the clothes of the Irish only remotely resemble the costumes of their ancestors. Only on family holidays or for any thematic performances do the Irish dress up in national clothes. But basically now they are dressed in the same way as the majority of the world's population. They also follow fashion and try to choose high-quality and stylish things.
