Samara region is quite attractive for tourists. There are several holy places and sources, Sernovodsky park and caves. There is a unique place of Samara - Lysa Gora. This place is very popular with locals, and they call it “Lyska”. The name of the mountain is given because there are white bald spots at the very top.

An epic view opens from the top of the mountain from Prorana itself to the Zhiguli Gate. The island of Zelenenky and the Ant Islands are visible.

a brief description of

In the Krasnoglinsky region there is the Sokolli Gory massif, which are a continuation of the Zhigulevskys (it extends about 15 kilometers). The array includes several vertices:

  • Tip-Tyav at the mouth of the Sok river;
  • Sulfur Mountain (between it and the previous peak are the famous Zhiguli Gate);
  • Kuznetsov peak;
  • Mount Badger;
  • Bald.

The height of the Bald Mountain is 80 meters. At the very height is a flat meadow where there is no vegetation. The mountain has several stone temples, stone pyramids that are “inlaid” with skulls and bones of dead animals, a mosaic of stone, and it is not clear why this is all created.

Bald Mountain (Samara) was formed during the Paleozoic, about 250 million years ago. There are many relict plants, from alpine aster to Isetian scabiosis. However, the entire array is known more for mystical stories.

A bit of history and legend

Once upon a time in this mountain range there was a temporary parking of free robber Cossacks.

Bald Mountain (Samara) is shrouded in myths and extraordinary stories. Some people claim to have seen luminous objects above the peak, and sometimes even heard strange sounds. It is believed that the peak has an energy field, and excess energy spills out from there periodically. And indeed, there are unique cases.

In 2012, at the top there was a tragedy that is associated with mysticism. One day, the rector of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker led an excursion group consisting of teenagers in the Zhiguli Mountains and broke loose. The most interesting thing is that rector Vladimir Semennoy, a physically strong man who was fond of mountaineering, suddenly fell apart. Vladimir had earlier ascended the Caucasus Mountains, and when he nearly died there, he promised that he would serve God and would never return to the mountains, he did so.

And next year, information about the Bald Mountain in Samara again appeared on the front pages of newspapers. It turns out that many people began to notice a black figure on top. It turned out that a hermit had settled there, having made a vow of silence. He built a house very similar to a nest. This person helps other people recover and makes massage.

Chilled ravine

The bald mountain in Samara is not only a peak, but also a ravine, which is located on the borders of the 9th and 10th glades and Democratic Street. This is a recreational area within the city. There are many tourist centers, resorts and children's camps. The icy ravine is completely closed by the forest from dust and noise of the city of Samara.

However, they are striving here not only for recreation, there are many individual buildings in the ravine, moreover, proximity to the city center is an ideal option for living. Not so long ago, the construction of the cottage village "Forest". You can even purchase a land plot for the construction of your own home, the cost for 1 hundred parts starts from 267 thousand rubles. The cost of cottages is also not low, about 5 million rubles.

But the Chilled Gully is famous not only as a popular place of residence. The very name of the ravine was due to the presence of many springs. The key, which is located under the very slope of the mountain, was consecrated by Father Vladimir Semyon.
