Mordvinov Nikolay Dmitrievich, whose biography will be interesting to many, was born on February 2, 1901 in the village of Yadrino (Chuvashia). His father was a merchant, and his mother was engaged in housekeeping.
Interest in the great art he appeared at an early age. Studying at a local real school, the boy took part in amateur productions with pleasure. After the October Revolution, the educational institution was reorganized into a single school of the second level, and at that time Mordvinov Nikolai Dmitrievich began to lead the drama circle.
After graduation, the Civil War began, and the young man joined the ranks of the Red Army, where he was entrusted with the position of clerk. Earlier, a fire destroyed the building of the Historical and Architectural Museum in Yadrino, in which was the Mordvinov Hall. Workers of the cultural institution made every effort to restore the exposure. The idea was approved by the governor of the Chuvash republic, and soon the project was supported by officials from the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
