Nevezhinsky mountain ash - a tree belonging to the family Rosaceae. It grows everywhere. It is a variety of ordinary mountain ash, but differs in sweet fruits without characteristic bitterness. The adjective in the name is not accidental. The first tree with delicious berries was discovered by a shepherd in a forest located near the village of Nevezhino. He dug it and transplanted in the vicinity of his house.
The leaves are complex, pinnate, with denticles along the edges. The flowers are white, unattractive, small, with a pleasant aroma in corymbose inflorescences. The fruits are medium-sized false drupes. Their color is bright orange. Nevezhinskaya mountain ash blooms a week earlier. The photo shows her at different times of the year. In many areas, these trees are planted around the edges, then they protect other plantings from the weather.
Nevezhinsky mountain ash has a superficial root system, so the treatment of the trunk circle should be carried out carefully. The best care is to dig a trench 0.5 m deep around the crown and add 4 buckets of manure, humus or compost to it. The remaining place needs to be covered with excavated soil. It is advisable to repeat this procedure every 2 years.

The fruits contain sugar (10%), malic acid (2%), tannins, pectins, a lot of vitamin C and carotene. By the content of vitamins, they can be compared with blackcurrant or lemon.
