The kung fu master and jeet kung do became so popular that now there are several places in the world where the monument to Bruce Lee is located.
Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
In 2005, a statue was erected in the northern part of Victoria Harbor on the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui to commemorate Bruce Lee, who lived in Kowloon-Tong until his death. Before the actor moved to this city, he lived on Nathan Road.
The city was sharply criticized for not honoring its movie star properly, and the statue is still considered only partially consistent with expectations. The height of the monument to Bruce Lee is about 1.8 meters.
Chinatown Los Angeles California
This bronze monument to Bruce Lee was originally created in China, in Guangzhou. He was transported to California by the actor’s daughter, Shannon.
The actor’s place of birth was San Francisco. As a teenager, he lived in Seattle. Bruce Lee's second home was in California and on the west coast of the United States. Acting career, after a long break from 1958 to 1966, continued in Hollywood: he starred in the series "The Green Hornet." He also taught kung fu at a school in Los Angeles, in particular to stars such as Steve McQueen and James Coburn.

Mostar, Bosnia
On November 26, 2005, in the Bosnian city of Mostar, ethnically divided, a “new symbol of unity” was established - a golden monument to Bruce Lee. The city chose a Hong Kong star, as it was worshiped by Muslims, Serbs and Croats. He was considered a symbol capable of forging connections after the city split during the war in the Balkans in 1993-94. The youth group Mostar City Movement agreed that they needed a symbol of justice, skill and honesty - the virtues that the late Sino-American actor defended.
The monument was destroyed shortly after its opening, and in 2013, after the show in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, it appeared in another park of Mostar. The German government financed the construction of the statue.
Shunde and Foshan, Guangdong
Of course, the largest monument to Bruce Lee is located in Shunde - on the ancestral home of his family. A statue about 20 meters high is located in the Bruce Lee Paradise theme park. Interestingly, due to restrictions on the import into China of everything that was connected with the culture of the capitalist countries in the 1970s, Bruce Lee was not known there at the time when he starred in films.
The actor’s relationship with this city is actually small, since his distant relatives are from Hong Kong and lived in Foshan. Bruce Lee himself has nothing to do with him.
