The well-known thesis of the Greek philosopher Heraclitus that everything flows, everything changes, finds practical expression in the ranks of the political establishment of the LPR region. Earlier, local media “thundered” with sensational statements that the ex-head of the Lugansk region Alexei Danilov did not exclude the possibility of returning to big politics … This was also favored by the alignment of social forces, which could well replace the mayors Nikolai Grekov and Sergey Kravchenko. But while the question of Danilov’s return to the power structures of the LPR remains open. What was his path to the political Olympus, and why was he forced to leave the governorship? Curriculum Vitae
Danilov Alexey Myacheslavovich - a native of the city of Red Ray (Lugansk region). He was born on October 7, 1962. At the age of fifteen, Alexei Danilov began his career. The young man got a job as a student at the Starobelsk State Technical College.
After some time, he entered the veterinary faculty at the local technical school and in 1981 received a diploma confirming that he could legally treat animals. Soon he gets a position as a veterinarian at a fruit and mineral water plant in Voroshilovgrad. But the young man did not have to work long in a new capacity, since he received a summons from the military enlistment office. For two years he gave back "debt to the homeland."

The first steps in entrepreneurship
In 1987, a young man decides to try his hand at business. He becomes the head of the cooperative "White Swan", and in the early 90's "head of affairs" in the Lugansk PE "Vera". During this period, biographies, as the press wrote, Danilov’s activities could be illegal, since the novice businessman had business contacts with criminal authority Dobroslavsky, who was killed in 1998. Sources said that Alexei Myacheslavovich tried to illegally transfer 9 thousand dollars across the state border.
But the USSR ordered a long life, so the businessman was able to avoid criminal liability.
The beginning of a political career
They say that Danilov’s “godfather” in politics was a certain Anatoly Parapanov. By that time, his protege had established himself as a successful businessman. Aleksey Danilov “headed” the companies that specialized in the sale of sausages and vodka. These products in the "half-starved" Luhansk region were in great demand. The businessman became a famous figure in the city. Naturally, Sergey Parapanov recommended that Alexei Myacheslavovich nominate his candidacy for the post of mayor. To attract as many voters as possible, an ingenious slogan was invented: "Danilov fed himself, he will feed the city." Naturally, it worked, and in the spring of 1994, a young businessman receives the mayor’s cherished chair.
Achievements
It should be noted that, taking a responsible post, Alexey Danilov did something useful for Lugansk. He was able to partially ennoble the territory of the city, namely: to improve roads, to purchase additional ambulances for a medical facility, to complete a flyover and a puppet theater in the area of the railway station, to equip a park in the square named after Heroes of the Second World War.
In order to open new horizons in big politics, Alexey Danilov, whose activities from 1994 to 1997 was positively evaluated by the townspeople, decided to increase the level of education. In the late 90's, he received a diploma of a teacher of history, and then received a law degree at the Lugansk Institute of Internal Affairs.
Resignation
One way or another, but in 1997, Danilov Alexei, whose biography is not perfect, is deprived of a responsible post. Local parliamentarians initiated the procedure for early resignation of the mayor. And their companion-in-arms of the mayor Anatoly Parapanov thought of them at such a step. In addition, facts of tax evasion by enterprises owned by Alexey Danilov surfaced. But the "illegality" of impeachment was proved through the court only in 2002.
Community Activities and Parliamentary Elections
At the beginning of the 2000s, the ex-mayor of Lugansk was actively engaged in public work. He establishes the Lugansk Initiative structure. After some time, he in the Verkhovna Rada, he holds the position of adviser to the parliamentary committee in charge of business and industrial policy.
In 2002, Alexei Myacheslavovich participated in the parliamentary elections. His surname is in the top five of the list from the Yabluko party. At the same time, Danilov is running for mayor of Lugansk. Shortly before the election, his name was deleted from the list of “apple-trees”, and the politician was forced to concentrate on another job. Danilov goes to the Ukrainian capital to act as head of the Institute for European Integration and Development.
