Saroyan Seyran Firdusovich was born on September 3, 1967 in the Armenian SSR, in the village of Aykashen, Echmiadzin District. Since 1985, he served in the Soviet Army. Almost nothing is known about the biography of Seyran Saroyan, before his stay in the armed forces of the USSR.

In addition to engaging in state activities, Saroyan is also a military man. In 2000, he was awarded the title of Major General. From 1993 to 2007, he was alternately the commander of a regiment, brigade, and army corps of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
