Birth trauma led to the development of speech defects, which Sly took a lot of time to eliminate. In addition, since childhood, doctors suspected autism of the actor, however, fortunately, their fears were not confirmed. In his youth, Stallone did not even realize that the ailment, which he miraculously managed to avoid himself, still overtook his family. In 1979, the son of Sergio was born to the rapidly gaining popularity of Sylvester Stallone. After 3 years, specialists diagnosed the boy with autism.
Sergio Stallone was born into Sly's marriage to an American actress and photographer Sasha Zack. In addition to him, the spouses had another son - Sage, who was born in 1976. Unfortunately, Sergio's elder brother suddenly died in 2012 from a heart attack caused by atherosclerosis. Also, the son of Stallone has half-sisters Sophia, Sistin and Scarlet, born from his father’s marriage with model Jennifer Flavin.

At 3 years old, he was not interested in communicating with parents and peers; he did not seek interaction with society. Sylvester and Sasha, worried about the behavior of the youngest son that was unusual for the children, showed him to the doctor. The diagnosis of autism, made by the baby by specialists, led the star couple into a state of shock and confusion. However, there could be no mistake: the youngest son of Stallone was a child with congenital disorders in mental development and required a special approach.
Fight for son
Confused Sly and Sasha at first did not understand how they should continue to live with such a son. However, having come to their senses after the shock, they decided to fight for the future of their baby. Sylvester Stallone Sergio could not devote much time due to the constant filming of the movie, so Sasha made a wise decision: let her husband provide for the family, and she would give up the film career and fully devote herself to the child. Parents divorce
Sergio’s treatment constantly required a lot of money, and Stallone literally lived on the set. The work on wear led to the fact that in 1985 on the set of "Rocky-4" the actor had a heart attack that confined him to a hospital bed for a week and a half. The actor could not afford to hurt for longer, because the future of little Sergio depended on him.
Leaving the hospital, Stallone returned to the shooting of the fourth part of “Rocky”, however, frequent separation from Sasha led to the fact that the couple moved away from each other. In 1985, having lived for 10 years in a marriage, the couple decided to leave. After the divorce, Sergio and his brother stayed with his mother in a rented house in Malibu. A few months later, Sly got married a second time, choosing Danish fashion model Brigitte Nielsen as her life partner. In 1997, musician Rick Ash became the stepfather of Sergio, for whom his mother married.
Further relationship with father
After parting with Sasha, Stallone rarely began to see Sergio. He still helped him financially, but he had very little time to communicate with his son.
