But one waiter proved the opposite and showed that not everything is still lost and the youth can show compassion and mercy.

It is sometimes difficult to help when it comes to a complete stranger. But a Burger King waiter named Matthew Resendes did this without thinking about his motives.
They are so scary
With disheveled hair, dirty hands and incomprehensible rags - such are usually all homeless people. Moreover, many decent women and even men can be frightened by this look and only on this basis refuse their help. Others simply decide that other people will help them or fear that the funds will not be spent on shelter and food, but on drugs. Case in the diner
When the homeless man entered the room, the waiter Matthew was not at all surprised. He had long been accustomed to seeing homeless people begging. But this untidy man acted differently than aroused interest in his person. The beggar went to the counter and asked one simple question: “What can I buy for 50 cents?”
Of course, anyone in the place of Matthew would answer: “Nothing, ” and would simply drive the person out into the street. But this boy with a huge heart not only politely answered the beggar, but also offered him to buy food for his own money.
The gesture of mercy did not go unnoticed
A visitor to the same restaurant noticed the act of the waiter and reacted surprisingly. While the other could have left a place where dirty people are welcomed, this client suggested that the beggar order a lunch from the menu at his expense, paying $ 100 for him.
Mom's Pride
Hearing what happened that day, Matthew's mother Michelle Resendes said she was proud of her son. At the same time, she wrote the following message on her Facebook page: “My whole family and I are proud of the boy. Matthew worked this evening, and the homeless gentleman entered the diner with only 50 cents in his pocket. He asked if there was anything on the menu that he could buy. Matthew replied that he would bring him any dish that could only satisfy his hunger."
The waiter was ready to pay for the food of a man whom he knew completely and who would have disgusted many. This story could end there. But Matthew was watched by women who subsequently turned to employees of the company in which the young man worked, with a request to award him.
