The United States of America (USA) is located on the North American continent, south of Canada and north of Mexico. The country is economically developed, politically stable, has been living under one constitution for 200 years. The status of the United States as a superpower is undeniable, the standard of living of the population is high. The question arises, of what components have America's current well-being been formed? What mechanisms were involved for such an effective development? Indeed, strictly speaking, the United States is not a monolithic country, one can even say fragmented. But at the same time, the state system is debugged and works like a clock. The financial power of America makes all the presidents of the world jealous of the white envy. The US government can afford the military doctrine, unprecedented in financial investments. The NASA space agency never asks for money, it receives them in abundance. The social sphere of the country is developing at a rapid pace, which is why growth is also observed in industry - since people are provided with attention and support, then they work with renewed energy, for the good of the whole country.
So it turns out that the fragmentation of a superpower called the United States is only apparent, but in fact a cohesive and indivisible country. The entire territory of America is divided into 50 parts, completely autonomous and independent of each other. It has long been debated about how many states in America. Some believe that exactly fifty, others do not agree with this. But not one of the states can secede and leave the federal association; the constitution will not allow it. The president will not allow the government either. That’s how it works. Although formally, each state has the right to secession. But formally, this does not mean actually. So it doesn’t matter how many states in America. When Barack Abama was elected to a second term, many Americans were unhappy, a wave of indignation arose. Several states announced their withdrawal from the federation, then several more reached 29 states that wanted to secede. So what? Everything remained at the level of emotional wishes. It’s impossible to exit!
And then it would have happened, as in the famous song of Vladimir Vysotsky: "… everyone took his allotment, started hens and sat in it …". Each state would separate, set up its own economy, its own currency, and issue its own laws. No and no. The state, folded in the manner of mosaics from fifty states, is extremely solid and indestructible. Even though every US state is also divided into counties, which is also a sign of fragmentation. Still, the question of how many states in America is not idle and it is currently believed that the United States of America includes fifty states and one federal district of Columbia. All coastal states in their economies are focused on export-import of goods, because throughout the Atlantic coast, port terminals receive hundreds of thousands of tons of various cargoes daily and ship the same amount by sea in all directions. Of course, in addition to port activities and transportation inland, in each coastal state there are industrial facilities that produce various products of hundreds of items. The state of Florida has developed a beach vacation industry; people from all over the world come to Miami Beach.
