The elderly man was dozing quietly, comfortably sitting in a chair by the open window. He was awakened by the noise coming from the street. With an unhappy look, the old man looked out. New neighbors settled in the neighboring house: the movers unloaded boxes, between which children were screeching, and the new mistress loudly gave the necessary orders.

An elderly man thought that a quiet life had come to an end, and he was right. Children behaved naturally noisy. They shouted loudly, playing in the neighboring yard, or squealed, dousing each other with water, instead of calmly performing the watering of plants trusted by their parents. But once an incident was seen through a window between a young mother and her young son, he melted the heart of a sullen old man. He was imbued with the cares of a neighboring family and began to render all possible assistance to them.

Unobtrusive charity

One morning, shortly before Christmas, an elderly neighbor went to the window, attracted by another noisy incident in the neighbors' yard. He saw a young woman chastising her son for breaking a coffee maker. After the mother sent the boy to school, she sadly sat down next to the remains of the kitchen accessory and covered her face with her hands.
