Victor Robertovich Tsoi was born on June 21, 1962. His hometown is Leningrad. He founded the legendary rock band Kino, in which he was a leader. Choi played the guitar, composed lyrics and music, sang. He also managed to try himself as an actor, he played several roles in the movie. On August 15, 1990, an accident occurred, as a result of which Victor died. His relatives that day did not even suspect that the Tsoi wall would soon be founded, which would become a pilgrimage site for many young people.
Examination and funeral
The musician did not drink alcohol on the eve of his death. It was established that he had not drunk anything like that for the past two days. The cells of his brain were taken for examination, and it turned out that he simply fell asleep while driving, most likely from fatigue.
The death of a famous rock artist shocked a huge number of his fans. Some fans even committed suicide. Not one thousand people attended the burial ceremony of the musician.
The base of the wall, the reaction of fans

Fans often re-watch films with Victor, as he was a very gifted actor. In general, nature generously rewarded him with talents.
In 2006, vandals painted the wall. However, after a while, fans gave her the same look. In 2009, young people who were members of the Young Guard movements, as well as the Local, organized a rally during which they expressed their opinion that the wall should never be painted over. The fact is that the authorities intended to do just that. Fortunately, this did not happen, the wall of Tsoi survived. But for how long?
Discontent of officials, proposal to remove the wall
The authorities of the metropolitan area are still indignant at what is happening near the wall. Therefore, many fear that this monument, on which fans write something every day, will soon be dismantled. Officials are unhappy that, in addition to the wall, all the surrounding houses are scribbled. And indeed, the way it is.
In addition, some inscriptions have nothing to do with Choi. The following messages can be seen on the wall and around it: “Greetings from Mordovia, ” “Happy Holidays, ” “Lena, I love you.” Even fans are sometimes outraged by this. The wall of Viktor Tsoi should contain inscriptions dedicated only to him. Otherwise, it already turns out to be some kind of senseless vandalism.
Officials believe that the wall should migrate to a worldwide network or to some other place. They also offer to transfer her to St. Petersburg, because this is the birthplace of Tsoi, where he spent his childhood.
Opposite opinion
However, some powerful people strongly disagree with this. They believe that it is now impossible to imagine the Arbat without this wall. It is a tourist attraction, it can be compared to a monument in honor of Bulat Okudzhava. If you remove the wall, this street will cease to be such an attractive place for many Muscovites and tourists. And now people every day endlessly rush to the Arbat. The wall of Tsoi attracts here, in particular, young people.

But in the case of a real wall, this is hardly possible, because they are regularly covered up by vandals, as well as officials. Unfortunately, these barbaric actions cannot be forbidden to these people.
Wall of Tsoi in the northern capital, collecting signatures
In the summer of 2009, the Tsoi wall appeared in the northern capital, similar to that located on the capital's Arbat. It is located on Nevsky Prospect.
In 2009, it was 19 years since the death of the rock artist. In connection with this date, a stand was installed near the cinema under the name "Aurora", the height of which reached six meters. On it, every fan of the musician could write something. Signatures were also collected: people wanted the name of the leader of the Kino collective to be included in the list of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. "The last Hero"

The film was supposed to be released back in 1992, when it was two years since the death of Viktor Tsoi, but work on it was stopped, and then it was completely lost somewhere in the documentary film studio in the northern capital. This picture tells what the legendary musician means to us, how our souls respond to his work. And he is still in the hearts of many admirers, and the wall of Tsoi testifies to this. Moscow is not the only place where such a monument should be, and it is good that people understood this.
