To this day, there are two versions of the spelling of the name of the lake: Vach-Lor and Vachlor, but it is translated from the Khanty language as “narrow lake”. They began to study the pond in the 90s of the last century. As a result, it turned out that its muds are healing and are in no way inferior to Saki muds, which are known all over the world. Geological reserves of sapropelic mud are estimated at 12 million tons. Their distinctive feature is the saturation with organic substances, which can be used for medicinal purposes and in agriculture. Municipal authorities are constantly reporting plans to build a mud bath. After all, this is an opportunity to attract a huge number of vacationers. The mud of the lake can cope with the problems that appear on the skin associated with the musculoskeletal system and blood circulation. But so far these are only plans.
