Brian Van Holt was born in Illinois in 1969. Soon his family moved to California. In his youth, Brian was seriously interested in surfing.
After leaving school, Van Holt entered the University of California, where he received a degree in sociology.
Brian's movie career began thanks to a chance acquaintance with producer Stefan Douglas.
