Zinaida Sharko is not as popular as other Soviet actresses. But nevertheless, in her asset a number of bright roles will be drawn, which distinguish the artist from other famous personalities of Soviet cinema. In this article we will describe the biography of this wise and strong woman.

Childhood

Sharko Zinaida Maximovna, whose personal life will be presented below, was born in Rostov-on-Don in 1929. The parents of the girl were very far from art. Mom had the status of a housewife, and his father worked as a firefighter. For all his life he read only two books - “Memoirs of Zhukov” and “Virgin Soil Upturned”. But this did not prevent him from being an extremely intelligent person.

Close people call Zinaida Maksimovna a southern flower, since her childhood passed in Novorossiysk, Tuapse and Rostov-on-Don. For the first time, the girl “met” the scene at the age of five. At his father’s work, there was an initiative, and little Zinaida Sharko recited the work “Hedgehogs”. The author devoted this poem to the narcotic of the NKVD Yezhov.

Young actress

Before the war, the Charcot family had to move to Cheboksary. There, Zina continued to perform on stage. In the second grade, the girl played Cinderella. In the third grade, she was the Swan Princess, and in the fourth she embodied the image of the Goat in the opera Wolf and 7 Kids.

In wartime, a dance and song ensemble was organized in the house of pioneers. Children traveled to various hospitals and performed for wounded soldiers. In total, Zinaida Sharko took part in almost 90 such concerts. For this, the young actress was awarded the award "For Valiant Labor".

Of course, the girl dreamed of going to the front, like all the children of those years. She even wrote a letter to the drug addict herself. Zina asked to send her to study at a torpedo school. The teachers at the school were very concerned about this and called the girl’s father. He said that if a daughter wants to protect her homeland, he will not interfere with it. Fortunately, the People's Commissar was an intelligent person and left the letter of the young artist unanswered.

Moscow-Leningrad

At 18, Zinaida Sharko, whose personal life will be described below, graduated from school with a gold medal. The girl firmly decided to enter the theater. Parents were not enthusiastic about her decision. After several scandals, she left for Moscow.

The girl’s idol was Alla Tarasova, who played at the Moscow Art Theater. Therefore, after arrival, Zinaida immediately went there. She was shaking with excitement, because her favorite walked along the corridors of this school. But entering the reception, the girl experienced a shock. Secretary nibbled pickles. And this is in the temple of art! Offended by her feelings, Charcot turned around and left.

To distract from the experience, a tearful girl walked along the street and read to herself Margarita Aguiler’s poem about Leningrad. And then it dawned on Zinaida - we must go to the northern capital. But if in Moscow Sharko lived with her mother’s friend, then in Leningrad there was no one to shelter her. Rescued one manicurist, who gave her the address. According to him, the future actress and showed up at six in the morning. The old woman opened the door to her and asked: “Who are you?” The girl replied: “I want to be an artist!” Zinaida Sharko quickly made friends with her grandmother.

Happy years

In appearance, the girl was completely unlike the future actress. A dress sewn by her mother fitted her full figure with thick legs. In addition to amateur performances, Zina had no training at school. Nevertheless, the girl was not at all afraid of exams. She really wanted to become an artist, and this desire added to her confidence.

And a miracle happened - Sharko entered LGITMiK. At the entrance exams, one of the members of the selection committee noticed that if the girl recovered even a half a kilogram, she would become unsuitable.

Studying came in the post-war years, when people had to go hungry. For the whole day Zina ate only one pie and washed it down with a glass of yogurt. Such a diet brought her to a hungry faint at the Philharmonic. Clothing, like food, was also in short supply. Once a friend invited the future actress to the theater, and she always had to hide her hands because of the holes in gloves.

But despite the hardships of life, Zinaida Sharko, whose biography is presented in this article, was happy. The girl comprehended the basics of her favorite profession. In the third year, Zinaida was invited to play in the regional theater. Charcot's game was so good that it was put forward for casting young actors.

The girl graduated from the institute in 1951. Upon graduation, she met a professor who took her to entrance exams. He did not recognize in Charcot that very “dummy”. Having looked up and down the thin graduate, the professor praised her, but noted that if she throws off another half a kilogram, she will become unsuitable.

Carier start

Immediately after completing her studies, Zinaida was invited to her team by Lydia Artmanake. In structure, it was very similar to the Raikin Miniature Theater. Charcot played as many as eight roles and traveled with the team the whole country. One of the performances for them was staged by G. A. Tovstonogov. He noticed a talented actress and invited her to work in the BDT theater. Sharko couldn’t leave her team right away and went on tour. When the actress returned, it turned out that another had already taken her place. Therefore, Zinaida got a job at the Lensovet Theater. So the artist worked until 1956 and then still went to Tovstonogov.

In the acting environment, everyone knew that BDT, in fact, is a “cemetery” for actresses. Georgy Aleksandrovich always selected the most talented artists, but the role for them was not always found. With Zinaida Sharko, everything was different. Tovstonogov liked her from the very first rehearsals. Actress Zinaida Sharko, whose personal life has already been arranged, immediately received two roles - Vari (“Donbass”) and Beatrice (“Much Ado About Nothing”). And in the future, she was always loaded with work. But the real fame for the actress brought the role of Tamara in "Five Nights." BDT made Charcot famous throughout the country.

Cinema

But with cinema, Zinaida Sharko at first was not all so good. The actress made her debut in 1954, playing in the episode of the film "We Met Somewhere." Then there were a few more small roles, but soon they stopped shooting her at all. The directors considered Zinaida non-photogenic.

The first to take a chance was Kira Muratova. She offered Charcot the main role in her film "Long Wires." In this dramatic story, the relationship of the lonely and defenseless woman Evgenia Vasilievna with her son Alexander, who was trying to become independent, was revealed. Zinaida Sharko, whose filmography is known to all her fans, played at the level of world standards, realizing her role on the screen as realistically as possible. But "above" this film was considered dangerous and froze the project for many years. But this greatly helped Zinaida Maximovna to “advance” in the cinema. The directors vied to offer her different roles.

After Tovstonogov

With Tovstonogov, actress Sharko Zinaida worked for thirty-three years. As the artist herself admitted - it was a very happy time, flying like one minute. And then George Alexandrovich passed away. This greatly influenced Zinaida Maksimovna. She stopped playing in the theater. Over the next 15 years, the artist only appeared on stage in the play "Antigon", embodying the image of a nurse.

Since the late 90s, Charcot participated in various theater projects. The most famous works of the artist at that time include: “The Old Maid”, “Doves”, “She Challenges” and “3 Tall Women”.

21st century film works

The honored actress was not spared by the cinema. At the beginning of the century, she played a number of vivid roles: Baba Dusya (“Gangster Petersburg”), mother of Plyuganovsky (“Mechanical Suite”), Nastasya Ivanovna (“Theatrical novel”) and Vera Andreevna (“The garden was full of the moon”). For the last role, Zinaida Maximovna was awarded the Nika Prize.

In 2004, the actress received an offer from director Andrei Malyukov. He invited Zinaida Maksimovna to participate in the “Notoriety” project. After reading the script, the artist said that she would be removed only with Ada Rogovtseva. Malyukov agreed and then thanked Charcot more than once for this advice. The duet of the actresses was simply magnificent.
