Olga Mironovna Zinovieva: biography of early years

Her story originates in May 1945. It would seem that more recently the Victory Day was the biggest holiday, but less than 10 days have passed, when an even more joyful event took place in the Sorokins. They had a little daughter - Olga. It should be noted that in addition to the newborn baby, the family already raised four children: three girls and one boy.

The work of his father forced the Sorokins to often move from one city to another. Therefore, in childhood, the girl had to change several schools. But even so, Olga was able to get a good education and, upon reaching 18, enter the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Here she studied shorthand and typewriting, and also mastered an advanced English course.

Marriage with Alexander Zinoviev

In 1965, Olga, then still Sorokina, got a job as a senior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the USSR Academy of Sciences. It was here that the fateful meeting of the young girl with her future husband - Alexander Zinoviev, took place. History is silent about the details of their novel, however, according to Olga, she was the first to notice a charismatic thinker.

This acquaintance did not pass without a trace. Fascinated by mysterious science, Olga Mironovna in 1967 entered the Moscow State University. Lomonosov at the Faculty of Philosophy. Rumor has it that her thesis “Human Problems: From Pascal to Rousseau” caused a lot of positive reviews from her research leaders.

June 26, 1969 a young couple decided to legalize their relationship and signed in one of the local registry offices. Two years later, Zinoviev Olga gave birth to a daughter, who was named Polina.

A few words about Alexander Zinoviev

Olga was very lucky with her husband. He was truly a great man, whose labors even today are considered relevant. By and large, he is known as the creator of the theory of social logic. Its essence consisted in the fact that a person is guided not only by natural instincts, but also by his social position.

In addition, Alexander Zinoviev was the author of several books that severely criticized the Communist Party and the rules that it established. Naturally, in those years, such behavior was considered unacceptable. Therefore, in 1978, the Soviet government delivered a harsh ultimatum to the scientist: prison or the life of an immigrant. The Zinoviev family chose the latter option and left the Soviet Union.

Arriving in Germany

Landing in Germany, Olga Zinovieva and her husband learned the sad news. The communist government deprived them of USSR citizenship, all awards and positions - branded traitors to the motherland without the right to appeal. Such a shock led to the fact that in the future the Zinovievs will become the most ardent defenders of the rights of emigrants from the USSR.

Upon arrival, Munich became the new home for Olga and Alexander. The good news is that they were welcome here. Moreover, not even a week had passed before the head of the family was invited to lecture at the University of Munich. And thanks to this, the young family received hope for a new future abroad.

All this time Olga Zinovieva fully supported her husband. She was his love, inspiration and support. Subsequently, the great thinker repeatedly recalled that it was only thanks to his wife that he withstood all the burdens that fell on his lot.

Path to recognition

In order to improve the financial situation of the family, Olga Zinovieva begins to earn extra money. The first serious post was the place of a teacher of the Russian language, which she got a job in 1980. However, the real career success was the employment on Radio Liberty in 1989. Olga Mironovna worked here until 1995 - it was during this period that the Munich branch of the radio station was closed.

The next pleasant news was the restoration of citizenship of the entire Zinoviev family in 1990. And, nevertheless, Olga and Alexander were in no hurry to return to their homeland. The reason for this was the birth of the youngest daughter of Xenia. Parents wanted the girl to grow up in a more relaxed atmosphere. And only on June 30, 1999, the Zinoviev family flew back to Russia.
