A native actor from Estonia. Sergey Parshin was born on May 28, 1952 in the village of Kohtla-Järve. His father and mother were simple miners: they worked on shale mines. Father Alexei, who later became the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, baptized the future star of theater and cinema.
Sergey Parshin began to show interest in high art since childhood. While still a schoolboy, he began to attend a drama club. Understanding of his place in the acting profession will come to the future lyceum later, but for now, having received a certificate, he decides to enter the Leningrad State Institute of Theater. In 1973, Sergei Parshin, whose biography was very remarkable, graduated from high school.

At that time, he was actively working in the workshop of Irina Meyerhold and Vasily Merkulov - it is their actor who considers them to be his mentors, who opened him the “road to life”.

Theatrical debut was successful
At the Alexandrinsky Theater, in the troupe of which a graduate of LGITMiKa was enrolled, a play with his participation: “The Green Bird” (K. Gozzi), takes place. In it, he plays Truffaldino, and the role brings him his first success in the acting field. Critics, having watched this production, noted that the artist Sergey Parshin confidently knows the technique, is not devoid of a sense of humor and knows how to laugh at his hero.
However, not everyone knows that the actor’s debut was supposed to take place in another performance - “Theater Fantasies”. As for the genre affiliation, he was positioned as a fun and sharp - at that time - plot.

A graduate of LGITMiKa met his first wife at his native theater university: they together learned the basics of the art of reincarnation. The future wife of Sergei Ivanovich worked as an art critic in the city House of clothing models. But after some time, family happiness was overshadowed by the news that the wife of Sergei Ivanovich - Tatyana Astratyeva - fell ill with oncology. Urgently needed money for the operation.
