Sergey Parshin is grateful to them for the fact that the teachers were able to convey to the young talent the true tasks and laws to which creativity obeys. It was Merkulov and Meyrhold who helped the student to play his first roles in the productions: Love, Jazz and the Devil (Y. Grushes), Valentin and Valentina (M. Roshchin), Tartuffe (Moliere).

Theatrical debut was successful

At the Alexandrinsky Theater, in the troupe of which a graduate of LGITMiKa was enrolled, a play with his participation: “The Green Bird” (K. Gozzi), takes place. In it, he plays Truffaldino, and the role brings him his first success in the acting field. Critics, having watched this production, noted that the artist Sergey Parshin confidently knows the technique, is not devoid of a sense of humor and knows how to laugh at his hero.

However, not everyone knows that the actor’s debut was supposed to take place in another performance - “Theater Fantasies”. As for the genre affiliation, he was positioned as a fun and sharp - at that time - plot.

Nevertheless, Sergei Parshin continued to hone his skills, turning into a plastic, temperamental and organic actor who could subsequently play dramatically diverse images. The Alexandrinsky Theater became his family. On his stage, he played many vivid and memorable roles: Redkozubov (“Untilovsk” L. Leonova, 1978), Kudashev (“Thirteenth Chairman” A. Abdullina, 1980), Bunning Cook (“Rembrandt” D. Kedrin, 1977), Belan (“Melody for the Peacock” by O. Zagradnik, 1983) and others.

A new round of creativity

Some time later, Sergey Parshin (actor) was in a creative search and did not take part in performances. The Lyceum returned to work in 1993. He again revealed to the audience the full depth of his talent in the image of Platonov according to A.P. Chekhov (staged by Svetlana Milyaeva). Another memorable role of the actor is Gorodnichny in the “Examiner” by Valery Fokin.

It should be noted and his impeccably played role of Ivan Voynitsky in the production of "Uncle Vanya", which was staged in 2009 by director Shcherban. One of the theater critics spoke about the actor’s work: “This is one of the best roles of Sergei Ivanovich. It is difficult to recall a performance in which the image of Voinitsky was so touching and cute. The hero of Parshin, in spite of all the melancholy nature of his nature, has attractiveness and inner strength, unlike other characters."

Sergei Parshin, whose filmography is difficult to calculate, became famous not only as an artist of the theater.

Sergey Ivanovich also worked as a radio host in the Northern capital.

Dubbing master

Parshin's sonorous voice timbre helped him become a professional in the art of dubbing and dubbing foreign films. He spoke for the evil Count Dracula and for the popular Hollywood actor Stephen Seagal. Few people know that Sergei Parshin voiced the heroes of Latin American melodramas, which were repeatedly shown on Russian television screens.

Regalia

In relations with “colleagues in the shop, ” Sergey Ivanovich shows courtesy and tact, trying to minimize the occurrence of conflict situations. For this, his opinion enjoys great authority in the acting environment. For ten years now, he has been the head of the Aleksandrinsky Charitable Foundation, and since 2008, he has been the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. Nine years ago, on the initiative of the head of state, Parshin was awarded the Order of Honor.

Advertising

Of course, viewers are not the first month on blue screens to see a commercial in which a little man praises one of the means to increase male potency. His role is played by none other than Sergei Parshin. For many, a logical question may arise: “Why does a well-known actor need to advertise a drug that focuses on solving the problem of sexual impotence?” The answer to the banality is simple. Wife Parshin got cancer, and treatment required a lot of money, which the actor did not have. Work in the theater did not bring too much income. And once, one of Sergei Ivanovich’s friends suggested that he star in an advertisement for a “male” drug in order to earn extra money. It is demonstrated to this day. The couple is no longer alive, and Parshin is invited to appear in another video, and the actor agreed to this.

“I don’t advertise cigarettes and not alcohol. I have no problems with the “male” part, so I can’t talk about how effective the drug is. Some of my friends stated that this is really a means of number 1. In the West, famous actors are not afraid to appear in commercials, and, in the end, why is it impudent to advertise an impotence drug? ”

For sports fans, the video has become a household word, and the phrase: “Well, what, what if?” already gone to the people.

Personal life

A graduate of LGITMiKa met his first wife at his native theater university: they together learned the basics of the art of reincarnation. The future wife of Sergei Ivanovich worked as an art critic in the city House of clothing models. The young actors got married in their fourth year, and the famous Soviet actor Vasily Merkuryev became a witness from the groom. But after some time, family happiness was overshadowed by the news that the wife of Sergei Ivanovich - Tatyana Astratyeva - fell ill with oncology. Urgently needed money for the operation. What did Sergei Parshin do, whose personal life was in jeopardy to save his other half? As noted above, he agreed to star in a Cialex commercial without seeing anything wrong with that. At that moment, it did not matter to him how to make money, the main thing was that Tatyana should recover.

Unfortunately, the actor was unable to help his wife: in 2006, she died. In the marriage with her, the actor had two sons: Alexander and Ivan. The second went in the footsteps of his father and became an actor. The first one refused this profession, although he played with his father in the film "June 22, at exactly four o'clock …", shot by Boris Galkin. The grandchildren of Sergei Ivanovich have long been living abroad, but this does not prevent the actor from communicating with them.

Second wife

Of course, Sergey Parshin passed the ordeals in his personal life, the family for which is the main value in this world. He found the strength to marry again, and his chosen one was the national artist Natalya Kutasova. With her, the actor starred in the film of Vladimir Shevelkov “Love under supervision”. According to the actor, he has a wonderful wife who knows how to keep a home.
