Victor Korshunov: childhood

The actor is a native Muscovite, he was born in 1929. Viktor Korshunov did not belong to the number of children whose fate was predetermined before birth. The work of his parents did not touch the world of theater and cinema, his mother and father were ordinary employees of the distribution network.

The childhood of the future star passed in the capital, where he was caught by the terrible news about the beginning of the war. The boy's father was among the volunteers who went to defend the country. Viktor Korshunov, who was then only 12, remained with his mother in his hometown, struggled to make her life easier.

The artist’s first appearance on the stage dates back to 1943. It was then that he began to attend the theater club working at the House of Pioneers. Viktor Korshunov, along with his troupe, arranged concerts in hospitals, trying to at least a couple of hours distract the wounded from world events.

First love

It is interesting that the actor spent his whole life with one woman who was met by him in his early youth and became his first love. Fateful acquaintance occurred when Victor became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, having got on the course of Kareva.
