Alena Goretskaya is a fashion designer from Belarus. The designer graduated from an art school and began a creative career as a painter. Alena did not receive a professional education in the field of fashion, but from childhood she was fond of sewing. Practical experience and an intuitive understanding of the needs of the market led to its successful development in the fashion industry.
Goretskaya’s business has existed since the 1990s. Together with her friend Irina Poznyak, she founded a workshop for sewing wedding dresses. Demand for the first collections entailed an expansion of production.
In 2002, Poznyak and Goretskaya founded the house Papilio, specializing in toilets for brides and evening fashion. 7 years later, Alena Goretskaya was established, which produces actual women's clothing. Since 2015, Alena has been developing the author's line of wedding dresses Alena Goretskaya Premium Wedding.
Alexandra Zhebrun is Goretskaya’s daughter and business partner. From childhood, a fashion designer was involved in the creative process of creating clothes and inherited the artistic abilities of her mother. Alexandra graduated from the Institute. Shirokova in Belarus and is a certified costume designer. The training was continued in Milan (Italy). Zhebrun is a graduate of the European Institute of Design.
Today, Alexandra is responsible for the Papilio Kids clothing line for girls and all the collections of the Alena Goretskaya brand.
