Many people today have taken the habit of using in speech a huge amount of words of foreign origin. For example, using the word "a priori", far from many understand its meaning. In one of the explanations concerning this word, one encounters the following: “a statement made before gaining experience”. And an example is set: “A friend is just crazy about racing. The decisive race tomorrow. A priori, he will be at the racetrack! ” Is the use of the word appropriate in this case? A moot point.
After all, as the blogger said above, the word indicates that the conclusion is not based on the experience gained. And in this case, we see that the assumption is precisely based on the fact that as a result of the experience (a friend always goes to the races, he has not yet missed a single important race), the comrade draws certain conclusions. Therefore, in this context, “a priori” can only matter with a touch of humor or a slight mockery. Thus, a person, trying to explain the meaning of expression, contradicts himself.
Another statement is based on the fact that the “a priori” value has those initial knowledge that does not require proof. An example of the spherical shape of the Earth is given. The very definition of the word can be called true, but with the example again a misfire.

They fry cucumbers and prepare garlic ice cream, try to compose their body in such a way that it fits in a meter-long cube, climb onto steep cliffs and sink to the very depths of the oceans.
And the other part of the population a priori claims that this is impossible. Without checking, without making experiments, simply because many people think so, says a priori. What this means, we have already figured out. But what part of speech can a word appear in a sentence?
More often this word has the meaning of an adverb. It seems to replace the words “in advance”, “speculatively”, “initially” or expressions that are circumstances, such as “not requiring evidence”, “without reliance on facts”. Less often in Russian, this word acts as a substantiated adverb, that is, an indeclinable noun of the middle gender.
A priori knowledge today is a deeply subjective matter. If earlier, almost 50 years ago, there were certain dogmas, axioms that did not need to be proved, but should be blindly taken for granted, then today all this does not exist. If schoolchildren in the last century were asked: “Ghosts exist?”, Then a large half would a priori answer: “Of course not! And there is no witchcraft, neither God, nor transformations! ” And today, even scientists find it difficult to give a definite and confident answer to this question. Yes, that difficult! There are research institutes that study what in the past a priori did not exist and therefore did not require study.
They laughed at the "spellbound" grandmothers, healers, a priori claiming that all this was a hoax. And today, scientists froze different types of water (including spoken water) and made an analysis of their structures. Amazing The facts destroyed the a priori statement. Spoken water has the correct structure of a hexagonal snowflake, the same as that of spring water. But the tap water has a broken structure.
So today it’s ridiculous to say anything a priori. Progress does not take anyone’s word for it, he “tries everything for the tooth”. It destroys dogma, crumbles axioms, sets its own rules. But the word "a priori" in the speech of some still remains, such a beautiful foreign word.
