In 1985, after graduating from GITIS, Petrosyan received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. After 6 years he receives one more - People's Artist of the RSFSR.
Since the end of the 70s, Evgeny Vaganovich Petrosyan has been collecting full halls, speaking with interludes, miniatures, feuilletons, monologues, etc. He is becoming very popular.
At the end of the 79th year, Evgeny Vaganovich Petrosyan created the TEMP (Petrosyan variety miniatures theater). And in the late 80s took over the leadership of the Moscow concert ensemble of variety miniatures, in which he is the main person to this day.
Then Petrosyan constantly appeared in the "Full House" program until the millennium. Since 1994, 10 years was the host of the program "Laughter." Even before 2014, he was the main artist in the show "Crooked Mirror".
