Music accompanies us from early childhood to old age. This is the oldest of the arts on Earth. In sounding combinations of notes, some people catch the melodies of momentary moods, while others hear an inspired life-affirming rhythm. For some it’s a charge of vivacity, but for someone it’s immersion in the world of beauty.
Composers compose music, singers and musicians skillfully convey sounding beauty to listeners, and dancers help to see the magic of music in motion. One can hardly understand real art by watching TV, listening to the radio or an MP3 player. Only in a room with a special aura, space and acoustics can you hear music in all its glory. Organization of concert activities: from the bureau to the philharmonic
The Philharmonic opened in industrial Chelyabinsk in the second half of the 30s. It was at that time that the organization of concert activity reached a professional level and a formal establishment was required. Prior to this, such functions were carried out by the bureau of concert and pop activities, consisting of theaters.
Initially, the right to organize concerts went to the State Estrada, but after a while a management order was issued to create the Chelyabinsk State Philharmonic. Under the direction of the first director N. B. Gukasov, a choir chapel led by A. I. Tishechkin, a string quartet, several jazz orchestras and one symphony concert gave concerts. The tour poster was decorated with the names of famous artists, including tenor Sergei Lemeshev. Later, multi-genre performers appeared among the artists of the Philharmonic: the Caucasian ensemble led by Mzrailyan, the illusionist P. Ya. Lyubavin and mobile theaters. Further, the theaters of the Chelyabinsk Concert Institution were supplemented by puppet theaters and variety miniatures led by L. M. Mirlas, an accordion ensemble, groups of sketch artists and artists of the word of art, as well as a Ukrainian theater.
Chelyabinsk Philharmonic Society today
Over the years, the establishment of a culture of transformation was a lot. The methods of managerial activity and the form of work have changed. As a result of the reorganization, the institution united two magnificent concert halls in one person. Both of them are located in buildings of old construction, both on the picturesque embankments of the Miass River, unless their bridge, yes the coast, and their address belong to them.
The organ and chamber music hall is located in the building of the former Rodina cinema, opposite the circus.
Concert Hall. S. S. Prokofiev is located next to the Art Gallery, opposite the Opera House, where the pedestrian Kirovka begins. At the beginning of the last century, it housed the shops of merchants, later - a cinema. The building of the Chelyabinsk Regional Philharmonic Society found its present appearance in the post-war period after the global restoration. It was then that a patio was attached to it, elements of architecture and decoration were added.
The name of S. Prokofiev was given to the concert hall in the 97th year, and the monument to the great composer, created by the sculptor A. Avakyan, was opened at the beginning of this century. As a result of the reconstruction of fifteen years ago, the premises of the Philharmonic Society found modern comfort.

Managing a concert venue in a city of a million is not so simple. But the current general director of the Chelyabinsk Philharmonic, Alexei Nikolayevich Pelymsky, manages not only to successfully manage, but also to interact with a large team, constantly monitor the philharmonic’s repertoire, keep abreast of musical requests from the public, and facilitate the organization of concerts with celebrities.
It is no secret that certain events require regional and federal subsidies. The main tasks of the Chelyabinsk Philharmonic are to bring music and genre art to the general public and to popularize performing art.
The last one and a half decades have been marked by active advances in achieving the goals:
