Nesterova Svetlana Nikolaevna - one of the few women included in the number of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, she is a member of the United Russia party. Svetlana Nikolaevna has been in political circles of Nesterova since 2000, it was then that she took the place of chief assistant Alexander Morozov, who at that time was in the deputy post. Working as an assistant to the deputy, the purposeful woman received in 2003 another higher education at the State Engineering and Economic University. It was Nesterova who conducted all the political work with the voters; the population of the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg was familiar with the deputy’s assistant. Meanwhile, Nesterova’s career went uphill. Her popularity among voters, Morozov’s help in terms of campaign financing allowed Svetlana Nikolaevna to take a leading position. Not even the machinations of competitors who tried to upset the turnout of voters by informing citizens by telephone did not interfere. Hundreds of calls were made with a false message about the postponement of the election date, which greatly reduced the number of voters who appeared. The first stage of the election was declared invalid, but the subsequent second stage showed excellent results: Nesterova won 65% of the vote. The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg accepted the third woman into its ranks. The activity of the deputy Nestrova Svetlana Nikolaevna in subsequent years consisted in the participation of the activities of the commission on regulation and management of state power.
The reception of the deputy Nesterova Svetlana Nikolaevna led constant receptions of citizens. In 2005 and 2007, she received awards and medals from the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga. Nesterova Svetlana Nikolaevna received not particularly flattering reviews during the 2007 election campaign. Before the upcoming elections, the Bolshaya Okhta newspaper is actively calling for voting for it as a fighter against injustice in the construction of the Orlovsky tunnel. In fact, no forces on the part of Svetlana Nikolaevna were applied to the settlement of this issue. But this fact did not stop her from distributing leaflets with information about her merits. Teachers actively encouraged students' parents to vote for Nesterova as a virtue, who organized the arrangement of the computer class at the expense of personal funds, never forgetting congratulations in the form of gifts to all students and teachers. Awards and Merits
Such actions allowed the nominee Nesterova to collect 45% of the vote and continue to work in the Legislative Assembly as deputy. Social work and services to the city allowed Nesterova in 2007 to receive medals “In memory of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg” and “Federation Council” as honorary awards. Last scandal
2015 was a special year in the life of a woman deputy, and there were not as many pleasant events in this period as we would like. Active work in the social sphere of Svetlana Nikolaevna became interested in the FSB. The subject of the study of the service was the deputy amendment introduced to the budget of St. Petersburg at the initiative of Nesterova. 25 million rubles were supposed to go to support veterans, the disabled, the elderly through admission to the public organizations Edelweiss and Solar Wind. Money from the budget was transferred, but older people did not notice the opportunities that appeared to make trips or improve their well-being. At the same time, two assistants to Svetlana Nikolaevna Nesterova, not only working under her leadership, but also living on the same stairwell, significantly improved their financial situation. Tatyana Kitova and Vera Shishkina were detained on suspicion of fraud, and Svetlana Nesterova immediately went to the hospital during the investigation. It is known that not one of her signatures appears on the documents in the case. Svetlana Nikolaevna Nesterova did not respond to calls from journalists, and the deputy’s reception office did not respond either. While the woman was in the hospital, she talked only with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov.
