Our hero was born in a family of teachers in the American city of Ellensburg on August 28, 1959. By the way, in addition to him, five more children grew up in the family. In high school, he began to show interest in acting, and more often in the scripts of various school projects, the name Thompson appeared. Brian played in various performances, but did not clearly realize whether he wanted to completely connect life with acting. That is why the young man became a student at Washington State Central University, choosing the specialty “Business and Management”. Nevertheless, he regularly attended castings, and in the end he was accepted to the theater. Soon he was entrusted with the leading role in the production of “The King and Me”.

Careers in film and television

In the mid-eighties, James Cameron manned the team of participants in his film "Terminator", and Thompson was among them. Brian made an impressive debut, playing in several scenes with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Soon after, he starred with Sylvester Stallone in the Cobra project.
