Childhood and family
The famous interior designer Jean-Louis Denio was born on August 27, 1974 in Paris in a wealthy family. His father worked as an engineer in an automobile company, his mother was a marketing director in a large campaign for the production and sale of alcoholic beverages Pernod Ricard. Parents from childhood predicted a serious career for Jean-Louis Denio, they dreamed that he would be a pilot, a lawyer or, in extreme cases, a surgeon. But since two years the boy showed an incredible craving for art. At first he became interested in painting, and by the age of 10 he devoted himself with passion to creating models. He enthusiastically glued models of rooms, houses and palaces. Parents were very disappointed by their son’s hobbies, his father thought that the child was growing up as a lazy person and a bully and that a poor life awaited him. Sister Jean-Louis Virginie fully realized the dreams of her parents, becoming a certified businessman.
School years
At school, Jean-Louis Denio had a hard time, he was little interested in science, he thought more about art. He saw the first interior magazine only at the age of 14, by which time he had already learned to create integral interiors in his imagination. His parents sent him to a boarding school, but he ran away from there weekly, forging a note supposedly from his parents. He spent his free time in a small room, rented on money that he earned on his summer vacation, picking fruits and vegetables on a farm. For days he disappeared in the library of the center of Pompidou, and in the evenings and nights he was immersed in the "delights of Parisian life."
The beginning of adulthood
Somehow, Jean-Louis graduated from high school and at the age of 18 married a real princess - Diana de Bovo-Craon. It was real, great love. This trick finally convinced the parents that their son was a loser, and they decided not to fund his further education. But the son began to show miracles of enterprise and organization. He found a job as a nanny in the children of the Prime Minister, for which he was supposed to have an apartment. Then he ensured that he was accepted to the architectural school without exams immediately for the second year. Here, independent study of architecture helped him a lot. True, this was not the institution he dreamed about, but here he began to study quite diligently. Parents, seeing that their son knows what he wants, relented and agreed to pay for his dream - study in Ecol de Camondo. This famous French school taught design, a lot of great creators came from here - Philippe Starck, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Patrick Rubin and others. It was a little boring to study at Jean-Louis Denio's school, but when there was a danger that he would not defend his diploma, the future master got together and created a brilliant graduation work, all the organizational work was undertaken by my sister. Parents were invited to the graduation ceremony, and they were very surprised by the praises they had heard about their son.
Career
Denio received his first order immediately after graduation. His customer, a very elderly man, entrusted him with a complete apartment renovation, which the designer designed in a classic style. But an attentive look could notice that even then the project was not purely classical, some modern elements were present in it. Thus began the design style of Denio. For fifteen years of his career, he was able to climb to the very top of Olympus. Today, Jean-Louis Denio, whose interiors can be seen in all countries of the world, is included in the galaxy of leading decorators. Critics call his ascent lightning fast. But Jean-Louis himself says that this is not so, he moved forward. After School, he began working for real estate owners, gradually his name became known. According to him, he is only at the beginning of the road, his achievements are yet to come. The area of the apartment is 120 square meters, the designer thought through every detail in it and today is rightfully proud of the result. It showed all the features of his manner: chic, restrained palette, a mixture of cultures and historical eras, modern materials and the latest technology. External simplicity, the play of textures, a lot of light and a lot of details - these are the basic principles of the project. Work in Russia
Managed to work Jean-Louis Denio in Moscow, where he created several private interiors, in particular, he collaborated with the family of Vladimir Spivakov.
